Tracy Lawrence has been one of the most consistent and successful country music icons over his decades-long career. The multi-platinum-selling artist has sold over 13 million albums, with 18 tracks hitting No. 1 on charts. Lawrence is a Southern boy — born in Atlanta, TX and raised in Foreman, AR — so his charismatic, good-boy stage presence is known to charm his country-music-loving fans during concerts. While his influences include both bad-boy Southern rock and traditional country tunes, Lawrence's songs still have audiences both swooning in their seats and up on their feet and dancing. Lawrence released Headlights, Taillights, and Radios in August 2013. which reached the No. 124 spot on the The Billboard Hot 200.
Lawrence was born and raised in the South, and the music and cultural influences from his boyhood shine through clearly in his music. Before he made it big in the music industry, Lawrence was a victim of a robbery in downtown Nashville. Although his girlfriend at the time escaped unharmed, Lawrence was shot four times. Shortly after, his debut album and ticket to fame, "Sticks and Stones," came out, and it shot up the charts, introducing Lawrence to stardom. Since then, Lawrence has released a slew of hits, including "Time Marches On" and “Texas Tornado,” which both reached the No. 1 spot on the Country Hits chart. His album The Rock, a Christian country album, was released in 2009 and nominated for a Grammy Award for the Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass gospel album. While Lawrence's career has already spanned multiple decades, he continues to tour the country performing his music, as well as produce new songs for his fans; and with the recent success of his latest album and singles, Lawrence has proven that his voice and sound have real staying power.
As the headliner he took it to another level than when hes not. GA did the opposite. He opened and was toned down. I was a little disappointed.
Even though there was a light rain all evening, the concert was a lot of fun!! Tracy and Gary were great and interacted with the crowd!
I loved everything about it!! Gary Allan And Tracy Lawrence were incredible!! I thought both sounded good - that was my first time seeing Gary And I enjoyed it - I’ve seen Tracy several times and I thought he sounded GREAT - I liked that he mixed up the songs and added different fresh things into the set! Venue was great!! The only small blip was the weather but we all know we can’t control that - all in all I give it a 10 out of 10!!! PS next time please please bring more of the larger size hoodies - just in case of rain LOL
The outdoor amphitheater was awesome! Beautiful weather!! Nice, helpful staff! Was a wonderful spring evening. Last time I saw Tracy Lawrence, we had to evacuate for tornadoes in the area. I'm thrilled we got another chance to see him!!
I just wander how you buy handicap seating kinda sinceless because where they are located people that are in wheel chairs and scooter who can not stand up can’t see because people stand up through the whole show makes it where the handicapped can’t see the artists. To enjoy the experience as the people who do t have the ability as the people who are able to stand. I think ADA SHOULD BE WHERE THE ADA PEOPLE CAN SEE SO WHEN THE PEOPLE STAND UP FOR THE SHOW THEY CAN SIT AND SEE THE SHOW TOO.
I went for Gary Allan. I had no idea Tracy Lawrence was headlining. Gary was amazing. I didnt stay after that. The thing that made me upset was that i paid over $200 for my ticket and the day before the concert the same exact pit and row as me were $100 cheaper. And there was an entire row empty two rows in front of me that were empty and cheaper as well. Ticketmaster did me dirty.
I absolutely loved this venue! It was a perfect night for an outdoor concert with terrific country music. Our tickets were even upgraded after we arrived
I was under the impression Gary Allen was the headliner. Gary Allen was so awesome. Gary was my Headliner 100%. I loved the Pinewood Bowl venue. Glad Gary went second so I could head out earlier than planned after his set.
We were in the 3rd row from the stage. Bass was so loud it vibrated in our chests. Other than that, great show!
I won tickets off the radio for my birthday and my boss wouldnt give it to me off so i couldnt go
Great concert. Sound could be improved so can understand words of songs
Great Concert. Sang All His Biggest Hits Plus Songs From Passed Entertainers. Came back out for a really nice encore.
This was the best concert we have been to in a very long time. Tracy put on a fantastic show sang some of his greatest songs and it was also great that he showed tribute to some of the county singers that we have lost, George Jones, Joe Diffie, Charlie Pride and Charlie Daniels. It was the best and when he sang my favorite Paint Me A Brimingham that just topped it off. Hope he comes back to this area again would love to see him again. Just Fantastic.
We enjoy the MPAC and T L killed it. They put on a great show and we had a blast.
Tracy played anything from his early songs to his recent! Loved every minute, band was amazing as well! Can’t wait to see him again!
Great venue to see a concert in. Tracy played all his greats. He kept the crowd engaged. Can’t wait to see him again.
Best concert that I have ever been to bar none, nothing else even comes close and I’ve been to CMA Fest (Fan Fair) and have seen many other acts from various genres of music, but this was the best! The MPAC venue is the perfect size not too big not too small which made for a great intimate setting and Tracy Lawrence and his band did an excellent job! Tracy is a once in a lifetime talent and his band are truly talented musicians! BRAVO & WELL DONE!
I wasn’t a huge Tracy Lawrence fan until I went to this concert. I felt every word. I can’t wait to see him again.
Great concert. Would go again if i he can back. Knew just about every song. Just a great overall show. From what i hear Tracy is a really good guy.
I thought the concert was great, could’ve done without the drunks.
