    Great all in all

    by NS on 8/30/23

Myself and my colleague enjoyed the tournament all in all. It was hot and we couldn’t find the water stations. Most places we stopped at either had very long lines or ran out of food. As a vegan, I also couldn’t find many choices. Ultimately I just focused on catching my preferred golfers and following them around the course. I couldn’t help but thinking about how to elevate our general experience though.

    Military Appreciation

    by Rick on 8/30/23

The Tournament was great. Just a little disappointed that they don't have a Military hospitality tent anymore.

    Tour championship 2023

    by Passion4golf on 8/30/23

Best game there is so yeah any PGA event always gets me fired up. They make the game look easy and ELGC was Pristine! Enjoyed every shot…And the southern hospitality is always second to none. If you love the game go witness any pro play from LPGA, PGA, Korn Ferry to the seniors. You won’t be disappointed by the experience.

Great day with my son-in-law a little rain that closed the course for a couple hours

Underrated ATL Experience - Tour Championship

    by Eastlake Newbie on 8/30/23

Beautiful facilities, strong access and sitelines to the pros, courteous staff and great signage to keep you current. Only way to imrove the experience would be to cliamte control the course!

    Fedex tour

    by Angela on 8/30/23

I guess I was under the impression that when my tickets indicated that we had seat assignments we actually had seat. The tailgaters tent was not what I thought it would be. Although we were glad we had coverage when the downpour came.

    Great venue & terrible parking

by Golf Fan from DC on 8/29/23

Going to East Lake, walking the course, the upfront action, all of it was spectacular. Great amenities and very good marshals and attendants. The parking at Georgia World Conference center was an absolute joke. Took us over an hour from the time we got to the location to actually park. No police directing traffic, the lights operating like a normal day. Disaster..... And completely avoidable! Please do better. Open up more gates for entrance into the lots. Have police there to direct traffic or find a better parking area.

Great experience, eat and drink before you go

    by Pricey on 8/29/23

The Tour Championship, itself, is an incredible experience, great venue, and up close a personal with the 30 best golfers in the world. Having said that, it should NOT cost $13 for a hamburger or hot dog, or $12 for a beer. The Micholob Ultra tent was amazing to be close to the 13th green, but you paid and extra $150/ticket to get in the tent and shade, but there were no, ZERO, discounts on food an beverage(including the name-sake beer). Again, it’s an amazing experience, but I shouldn’t have to sell a kidney to afford to have lunch.

    Great

    by Randy on 8/29/23

we had a great time lots of great places in shade to watch golf shots. The volunteers were a very helpful and nice. Getting in and out was easy. Only negative is the long lines for food and drinks, more than a couple of times saturday and sunday our waters and sodas were not cold and it was very hot both days. Overall is was awesome

    Confusing

by The ticket was very confusing, because the grounds past listed a seat. There is no physical seat with the grounds pass. on 8/29/23

The PGA tour golf event went wonderfully once the transfer of the ticket went through.

    Fun until Transportation

by Still Waiting for My Uber on 8/29/23

The on-course experience was fantastic, even in the insane heat on Saturday. However, the rideshare setup was horrendous. The fan guide stated, "As the day at East Lake Golf Club comes to an end, fans can rest in the climate-controlled Rideshare Lounge as they wait for their ride home."The area that we were directed to wait for our rideshare was the equivalent of a car rider pickup line at an elementary school. Fans were asked to stand behind gates in a very small space while volunteers, staff, and even law enforcement yelled out names for Ubers. As we sat there waiting for our Uber I looked around and there was no climate-controlled anything. In fact, I wouldn't even call the setup controlled chaos. I realize getting that many people to an area like that with limited parking is difficult. However, Atlanta has some of the brightest supply chain and logistics minds in the world, let's get them involved next year and get the transportation figured out!

    Nice, but…

    by WhoDat Gal on 8/29/23

Quality of play was great. Weather in late Sept (in Atlanta) is much more enjoyable, as it was played initially. I assume there’s more money in the hottest month of the year. $105 for general admission and $45 for lunch, (no alcohol), a bit pricey. The only thing priced reasonably was $2/water. The “water stations” too far apart and warm at best. Drove 2 hours (quite early), only to learn at parking areas, the start times had been pushed back. Again, weather is not anyone’s fault, but if you are going to host outdoor event in the hottest time of year, customers should be considered.

    Great golf in sweltering heat!

    by Mr. G on 8/29/23

The thousands of volunteers out in the heat were outstanding! They are always very friendly and helpful. The course appeared in immaculate condition for the top 30 golfers in the world. Their play did not disappoint. The PGA has faced a lot this season, but the caliber of play is excellent. Thanks East Lake for a great tournament!

    Good Tournament

    by Long Balls on 8/29/23

East Lake Golf Club and the actual tournament are both fantastic. Buying parking, getting to the parking lot, and taking the shuttle to and from was a nightmare. unless they get that fixed, don't buy parking and use the rideshare option.

Wilting heat, expensive food and great golf!

    by Sammy V on 8/29/23

Course was immaculate! Went on Thursday so small crowds made it easier to see the great golf. Merchandise store was top shelf. Food was good but $13.50 for a cheeseburger? C’mon man! Thank God for $2 waters. No way to fix this but hated having to take the shuttle to course. I’ve been to several majors but I won’t go back to the Tour Championship.

    Disappointing

    by Golfhead on 8/29/23

Heat was staggering, it would have been better if more tenting in the common areas was provided with more overhead misting units. The pga store was a disappointing place with mainly clothing that was horribly overpriced for example a Titleist Hat, $46.95, really , beer $12.00 a can and at Tito’s bar two drinks $39.00 plus a tip. I won’t do it again.

    What a great tournament.

    by Reggie on 8/29/23

I like a venue where you can see the players up close. I was just a few feet from several players at various times. Got some great pics of my faves.

    Way overpriced

    by TBone on 8/29/23

It was extremely hot which nothing we could do about that. The beer prices were outrageous and the service to get them could have been more streamlined. Probably my last tour championship and I’ve been to several.

    Awesome Experience

    by Mike H. on 8/29/23

My son and I had an absolutely awesome experience at the TOUR Championship. From easy parking to a day on the grounds, no details were left uncovered. The staff even planned for the excessive heat and did their best to keep fans cool with heat indexes over 100. I can't wait to go out again in the future and see what the new, re-designed East Lake looks like!

Awesome experience but room for improvement

    by Jonathan on 8/29/23

We had a blast at the tour champion. Only problem we had was bathrooms. No matter where you are it feels like a long hike to use the bathroom. They could triple the amount of port a johns and might not be enough. Lack of score boards to keep track of whats going on. Besides that it was a 9/10 experience.
