International soccer was a great thing to see in Baltimore, but the weather is definitely a factor. Mid-atlantic midday heat is not kind to either the players or fans, and had a huge impact on both the quality of play and enjoyability for the fans. Schedule these games during the evenings. Soccer is not a hot weather sport!

    Most boring soccer game ever!

by Injuryboy on 7/31/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

I know it was an exhibition and it was very hot but overall lack of effort was disappointing. Very few if any chances were taken by either team and both seemed content to pass it back and forth to their keepers. This game definitely would not be a major selling point to the casual fan. Also would not recommend a day time start in July in Baltimore-it's always going to be very hot and humid. The coaches comments in the Sun the next day was classic: "certainly didn't want to take a chance and lose the game.". Really? For an exhibition game-who cares? How about take a chance, try and score and make the game exciting to a whole new fan base. $4.50 for bottled water on a 95 degree day just added to my dismay. I'll save my $300 I spent taking my son and two nieces next time and find something more enjoyable to do.

    Watching Liverpool...Live

by Kutkut on 7/31/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

It's a dream came true. I'm a fan of Liverpool FC for over 35 years. Never attended a match in a stadium to watch Liverpool plays . What made it even greater, I took my 10 years old son (Kaka) to watch his favorite team, his dad's team. The stadium was awesome, the fans were OK, and the match itself was fair as a friendly one. Special thanks for the organizer.

Liverpool mailed it in - total lack of effort on their part. Big time ripoff - I won't waste the money again. At least Tottenham tried...

    I Walked Alone

by smarcus1369 on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

Liverpool have the same "disease" as these other EPL clubs...."Summer Letdown'. I realize that the super-stars need a break, but it is rdiculous that Brandon Rogers played some MLS worthy kids and some has-beens. Yes, Joe Hart was there, and appearances by Andy Carroll (never thought I'd be HAPPY to see him) and a lethargic Captain Steve, along with a few others did nothing to keep me a Liverpool fan (since 1968 mind you). The only thing worse than the Liverpool B/C team, were Tottenham!

    Hotspurs Rock!

by Queen8733 on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

The game overall was very entertaining. Great to see Premier League Play in Baltimore. The crowd was nice and the majority were true fans! Would LOVE to see this as an annual event! Would have preferred an evening match due to the afternoon heat/sun so next time, try to work around the O's schedule! :-)

    Parking Ripoff/Idiot in Stands

by Rayzermania on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

The parking pass purchased with this event was totally unacceptable. Couldn't even get parking directions to Lot DS. The attendant at Lot D just said follow that black car......I could have gotten cheaper and closer parking had I known I was being relegated to wastelands of Baltimore. NO SHADE. Parking Surface reminiscent of bombed out area in Eastern Europe. Quite a hike to M&T and Inner Harbor attractions. Everyone in my,group is very fit and all agreed that $25 for this poor excuse for parking area put a real downer on what should have been a great day. It took M&T Staff over 20 minutes to remove Idiot who insisted on standing thought the match. Many complaints and he was finally removed to other area of Stadium. He told a couple of the Staff to just go away and they did! Everyone in our Section 128 complained and cheered when one Staff member with a backbone finally tossed him out of the section.

Soccer Game at M & T was great!

by jkbarto on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

The game was great! I only wish that the tickets were less expensive. We paid a pretty penny to sit in nose bleed seats.

    You'll Never Walk Alone

by RedScouser95 on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

I absolutely loved the game! I'm a die hard Liverpool FC fan, and I never though that Baltimore would be so full of them on Saturday as well! Even though they didn't score, I still enjoyed every second of the game. I actually cried twice after the game cause of the happiness and thankfulness I had towards seeing the club I support and love play in person for the first time! YNWA! JFT96! Next time, IT'S ANFIELD!

LFC - You'll Never Walk Alone

by TKCK on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

For a pre-season game, I was very happy with the game. I wish there would have been goals, not 0-0 tie! However, just extremely happy to experience the game and environment and the talent live.

It was amazing to see my favorite team with star players here in my home town. No goals, but I couldn't ask for more in 100* heat. It would be nice to see in a more mild time of year if schedules allowed.

Great game, shame about the organizat

by EMG12 on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

Getting to and from the stadium was excellent and easy. Getting into the stadium was a joke. No mention on ticket or correspondence beforehand that bakpacks were not allowed in (other NFL stadia and MLS stadia have bag checks at the gate). This wasn't made known until you were at the gate, and then had to turn back to the bag check place, which was just a space on the sidewalk. Then getting the bag back afterwards was a logistical nightmare, with no organized system, and some workers randomly giving the bags out, and another insisting everyone stayed in line. The line wasn't organized and cut across the path of other fans on the road with no direction from and security or other staff. It was a joke, frankly, made worse by the constant statements that they were only there for 30 minutes after the game. I wouldn't return here for a game if they remain this organized

The weather was hot but the match was not.

by Stackhawk on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

I like both Tottenham and Liverpool. The Spurs are my favorite EPL team at the moment, but I like Liverpool fairly well. When I found out my favorite player, Gareth Bale would be in the starting line-up, I was excited. However, the heat took its toll. Normally a 0-0 draw can be very exciting, but since it was a friendly and very hot, both teams were playing at a relaxed pace, and the game was mostly boring. And Gareth Bale only had a few interesting challenges, before he was brutally tackled and the idiot referee did not even produce a yellow card. (He actually did have a yellow card in his pocket, which he brought out in the second half for a pair of much less serious infractions.) Bale was replaced by a sub at halftime. Whether that was partly due to the bad tackle or pre-planned I know not. Next time I'll watch it on TV. Too much trouble getting to M&T.

    Boring

by Anonymous on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

Expedition matches like this are always hit or miss because you never know what you're going to get. This one was definitely a miss. Boring game with no excitement but that's kind if what you get in the preseason.

Game was fine for a preseason tilt. Paking & especially traffic control was absolutely horrible ... I can't imagine it being that way for every Ravens game

by mu82rahrah on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

I wish tthere were more goals acores . Was very upset that liverpool plyarer steven gerrard grabbed and pulled down a tottenham player when he was about to have a break away chance at a goal. gerrard got a yellow card for it. but come on it's an exhibition game you got beat on the play don't add to it with a penalty in an exhibition

    Y.N.W.A.!

by Nikerange54 on 7/30/12M and T Bank Stadium - Baltimore

Attending the event was AWESOME! So cool to see so many people interested in two international soccer clubs and so supportive. Getting the chance to sing Liverpool songs with my fellow fans is something I'll not soon forget!
