  • Always Outstanding—True talent

by Kris on 7/9/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Second time in 30 years seeing Tori. Shows are always top notch. You never know what songs you’re going to get! Tremendous talent. Voice and musical quality just like what you hear on the album but a live version and unique in every way. There’s nothing like seeing her in person. She really makes you feel special. Venue was beautiful, but definitely some A/C issues (but venue is almost 90 some years old). Love her.

  • The venue needs attention

by HY on 7/9/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The air conditioning was not working properly in the theater, and it was extremely uncomfortable. This venue should only be utilized for events in cooler months or the air conditioning fully updated in consideration of the comfort of their patrons. It made for a miserable experience.

  • Talented artist blah show

    by 90kegster on 7/9/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Tori is a spectacular artist, but I found the show to be mediocre at best. She only played 2 songs off her old tracks which were hits and her new songs were so overcome by instrumentals it was impossible to hear what she was singing. Unfortunately I will not be seeing her again.

  • Tori is my Unicorn

by Jen on 7/9/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I have been trying to see Tori for 30 years. Twice I missed her due to unfortunate circumstances. But finally getting to see her was beyond amazing. Watching her play was mesmerizing. Hearing her sing love was breathtaking. I hope to see her again! I finally saw my unicorn and checked it off my bucket list! Doesn't hesitate to watch her perform live!

  • Conform yourself to Tori Amos' harmonic blend

by Michal Korpalski on 7/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

To have a voice so different in colors, knowing how to use it to make fans tempted to follow her every time she wants to sing and be heard, like Tori Amos does, is God's gift. Tori knows how much artistic talent she was privileged and is not afraid of being loud. Vocal experiments and transitions staged during concerts, various singing techniques used, phonating on different voice ranges, shakes, are so catchy that becomes a huge pleasure to conform yourself to Tori's harmonic blend. Articulated lyrics Amos wrote about womanhood, religion, human relationships on personal level, about herself and her country (🇺🇸 🇬🇧) (?), stylized instrumentally on the piano and keyboard she plays, on the bass/base by Jon Evans and on drums by Ashley Sloan, are strong, reasonably extreme, appealing, learned by heart, and passed from heart to heart. An emerald long wavy silky dress-styled robe and pants with on-designed white symbols, distinctive only to her orange-to-red colored hair decorated with green glittered highlights, overall resembling together Ireland's national flag which is a pretty common Irish landmark in Boston, Tori looked gorgeous. Dressed like the Goddess-muse she performed: "God", "Ocean to Ocean", "Girl", "Pandora's Aquarium", "Never Seen Blue", "Please Come to Boston"(Dave Loggins' cover on the request), "Mother Revolution", "Marys of the Sea"among other songs, with three big hits in the great finale - "Precious Things", "Cornflake Girl"and "Big Wheel"

  • Tori was Amazing!!!

by Angie on 7/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert was epic, Tori was amazing! Not only did she have a broken foot and still perform but she was there with us, happy to perform while in pain looking and sounding gorgeous. She's a goddess! The venue however was ridiculously priced, they charge 10X what anything is worth for food and drinks, and it wasn't even good food and drinks. They definitely take advantage.

  • Happy Phantom

by Sidwnec on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Bucket List show. Love Tori. Never got the chance to see her in concert before. Loved every minute of it.

  • Too many people walking around

by Leiflw on 7/5/23Rating: 2 out of 5

The alcohol and food vendors at the periphery stayed open through the show. So all during the show people were getting up, walking around, getting another beer, (and then of course, going to the bathroom). And every time someone stood up, their entire row stood up to let them pass. I swear, the rows in front of us were standing up and sitting down every 30 seconds - through the entire show. The aisles were a steady stream of people walking to & fro. The drinkers needed to shout their orders to the vendors, so there was also a continuous hubbub of talking (and shouting) from all sides. If I wanted to see a concert in a bar, I'd have gone to a bar. But when I pay $$$ a seat for a concert, I expect the audience to remain seated and quiet throughout.

  • Tori is wunderbar; not so much the fans who rushed the stage

by Diana on 7/5/23Rating: 3 out of 5

I have been a Tori Amos fan since the 1990's and she never disappoints...she is a phenomenal songwriter and performer...I spent money on very good seats, so naturally was quite dismayed when fans rushed the stage and I was behind a man over 6 feet tall with a hat on (I mean, for real?) If it wasn't toward the end of the show, I would be asking for my money back.

  • Tori is better than ever!

by Lucy on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

So much talent on one stage. This trio was a joy to listen to. Tori's piano sounded more beautiful than ever complimented by a fantastic drummer and creative bass player. I've been to a lot of Tori shows and this is one of my favorites. Very powerful!

  • Amazing!!

by KT on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Tori for over 20 years, she is amazing. Her voice still sounds terrific and amazing as when she first started!!

  • She is a goddess

    by Erika b on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tori knocked it out of the park! So grateful to have gotten to see her live

  • Amazing Performance!

by Tea on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Tori, and I was blown away. She has a beautiful stage presence and when she plays, there's a raw energy that permeates the venue. My only disappointment was she didn't play anything from Little Earthquakes, but that's nothing in comparison to the stellar performance. Wow.

  • AMAZING!!!

by Cornflake Girl on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tori still has it! She played many favorites and sounded incredible!

  • Magical

    by bllu c on 7/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Boston on the Independence Day Saturday evening, full moon in a clear sky over the Harbor under a show tent AND fireworks! Yet even with all of that magic, Tori Amos and her Silver Foxes were the most magical. Tori's piano placement between the drums and bass allowed a wonderfully dynamic interaction between musicians. You felt the communication flowing. They played with freedom, ease and respect. The lights, sound and production design were top rate as well. This is from a designer (me) and audio engineer (husband). A tremendously well-put together show. I've followed Tori since 1991 and when my husband came along in 1999 our respect for her music was something we shared. So glad we were able to make the Ocean to Ocean tour.

  • Disappointed

by Walter on 7/5/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I have been a fan for eons and was really looking forward to this concert. We were very disappointed that Tori did not start until an hour after the opening act finished and she did not perform some of her key hit songs. The set was also really short in duration. These sentiments were shared by many other concert goers around us. Despite this Tori did perform well.

  • Always a good time

by Pignapoke on 7/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This is my 8th time seeing Tori Amos since 1995. She is always amazing and never hesitates to hit you with a classic you didn’t expect. Seeing her on the Boston harbor in July when it wasn’t bad out didn’t hurt either

  • Mediocre setlist makes for a mediocre show

by JJ on 7/4/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The title says it all. There wasn’t a single standout song on the setlist in my opinion. It was tired standards and filler tracks

  • Amazing

by Salem Fab Fan on 7/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tori still has the vocals of 20 plus years ago and piano/keyboard play, separate or simultaneously, to match anyone. Fab show from her early God and Cornflake Girl to a spellbinding Oceans. Loved it all.

  • Great show, but…

by DaveC on 7/4/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Tori was amazing to see. She is such a great performer. Couple of issues, though: 1) long time between opening act Tow’rs (who was also really good) and Tori coming out. I heard she was supposed to take the stage at ~8:20, but it was nearly 9. The show seemed short - not sure if the late start meant they cut the set down. The other thing was that the sound mixing could have been better. Tori’s vocals were a bit muddy, especially when the drums were louder during more powerful songs. Still, I would gladly see her again.
