Conform yourself to Tori Amos' harmonic blend
by Michal Korpalski on 7/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5To have a voice so different in colors, knowing how to use it to make fans tempted to follow her every time she wants to sing and be heard, like Tori Amos does, is God's gift.
Tori knows how much artistic talent she was privileged and is not afraid of being loud.
Vocal experiments and transitions staged during concerts, various singing techniques used, phonating on different voice ranges, shakes, are so catchy that becomes a huge pleasure to conform yourself to Tori's harmonic blend.
Articulated lyrics Amos wrote about womanhood, religion, human relationships on personal level, about herself and her country (🇺🇸 🇬🇧) (?), stylized instrumentally on the piano and keyboard she plays, on the bass/base by Jon Evans and on drums by Ashley Sloan, are strong, reasonably extreme, appealing, learned by heart, and passed from heart to heart.
An emerald long wavy silky dress-styled robe and pants with on-designed white symbols, distinctive only to her orange-to-red colored hair decorated with green glittered highlights, overall resembling together Ireland's national flag which is a pretty common Irish landmark in Boston, Tori looked gorgeous.
Dressed like the Goddess-muse she performed: "God", "Ocean to Ocean", "Girl", "Pandora's Aquarium", "Never Seen Blue", "Please Come to Boston"(Dave Loggins' cover on the request), "Mother Revolution", "Marys of the Sea"among other songs,
with three big hits in the great finale - "Precious Things", "Cornflake Girl"and "Big Wheel"
