Tootsie (NY) Tickets

I bought tickets thinking that Tootsie would be a fun way to pass an afternoon prior to dinner plans in the City. Well, Tootsie is reason to make a trip to Broadway all on its own! The show is a delight, the performances spectacular and we laughed and laughed. It was so perfectly done in every aspect from the setting to the music to the stellar performances. If you get a chance, don't miss it. Let Tootsie help you put some joy back into your busy life!

Santino Fontana gives a superb performance and deserved his Tony award. One of the funniest musicals that we've seen in a long time.

The theatre is lovely, the set design creative, the actors' performance was outstandingly wonderfully superb! It's nice to still have an orchestra.

I don't think I have ever laughed so much during a broadway show. The acting was terrific, especially the lead actor and the actress who played Sandy.

Loved it. The banter among characters. I had never seen the movie so I did not know the storyline. It was great. A wonderful funny story.

Tootsie is a great show, one of the best I have seen in over 50 years of Broadway musicals. Yazbek's music and lyrics are simultaneously intricate, tuneful and brassy, Horn's book is very funny (better than the classic movie it was adapted from), the choreography is excellent and the overall production works like clockwork. The acting is superb, not only Tony winner Santino Fontana as the lead(s) but all of the cast members are memorable. I give this production five stars, a rare accolade in my "Pantheon of Ever".

Loved the characters, storyline everything!! So so funny!

The leading actors were great, especially Santino Fontana. I was celebrating my 78th birthday and the show made me feel happy.

This musical was much different from the movie and much funnier. The acting was superb with several skits hysterical. This was a very entertaining 2 1/2 hour show. My only regret was that they didn't incorporate the beautiful musical theme from the movie into this show.

Every cast member gave the performance of a lifetime and made every moment delightful! I laughed so hard that I cried!

This was a great show. I have seen almost all the shows nominated for 2019 Tonies and this was the best. Definitely better than Hadestown IMHO. Santino Fontana was perfection and his Tony award well deserved. Sorry to hear the show is closing - hope it goes on tour.

Second time seeing it and loved it even more round 2. Sarah Stiles was the highlight for me, and the dancing was top level.

This perfectly casted show gave me a lot more then I expected. Mr. Fontana was brilliant and deserves his Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award. Andy Grotelueschen performance was outstanding. Sarah Stiles is irreplaceable with her awesome performance. Hats off to the rest of the cast.The rewritten story works well and I like it better then the movie. I do wish Mr. Yazbek would revisit the music and do some tweaking. The score was beautifully delivered, but lacked oomph. I haven't laughed so hard at a Broadway show in a long time and I am planning on seeing the show again, it was that good..
