Tootsie (NY) Tickets

This was FUNNY! The three actors playing the roommate, Sandy and the director were spectacular! The play has the same concept (man pretends to be woman) and same characters as the move, "Tootsie" but the story line is different and it is absolutely terrific. At times the actors had to just wait...until the audience could get control of their laughing .... before we could all go ahead! What fun! The leads were good but the roommate, Sandy and the director made the show just a totally delightful, stress lifting, roll-on-the-floor good time!

Had me in stitches!! It's a must see! I plan on seeing it again

"Toot toot Tootsie don't cry.".well that's how the song goes anyway...THIS production had me in tears because I was laughing so hard. The entire cast is phenomenal...I went for Santino and left cheering EVERYONE's performance. My entire family was in stitches..my theater loving son, my Santino fan girl daughter, AND my sports fanatic husband are still talking about scenes and lines from the show!!! Loved loved loved it...

The show was amazingly funny. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend to anyone. It is a must see

I truly LOVE this musical version of Tootsie!!! Catchy, cool, beautiful, tender, playful, amazingly clever music and lyrics. Hilarious, sharp and warm-hearted adaptation for a today's Broadway musical. And all incredibly talented actors and creators. The show maintains something nostalgic purposely, which I very much admire. This is a love letter to a musical theatre and the show is for everyone who cares about what you love. I have never seen such a precious musical comedy in long years.

From start to finish the show is terrific. Santino Fontana is amazing. Funniest and most entertaining night on Broadway.

Overall a good comedy, the text has good lines and the cast delivers well. But the songs are not so good and the dancing is non-existent, I was disappointed by the musical side.

This show exceeded our expectations. It was so funny! Is it deep or moving? No, not really. It is pure entertainment. The lead - singing beautifully as both a man and a woman- is so impressive. It’s almost unbelievable how well he is able to pull this character off. And the “roommate Jeff” character and the actor who plays him is also another highlight. He is hilarious. I recommend this play for pure entertainment and fun.

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Tootsie this past weekend. Santino Fontana and Andy Grotelueschen and were so funny together as roommates, and Lilli Cooper was excellent as Julie. We saw several understudies and they were great too! There were many, many laugh out loud moments. It was a great escape for a few hours, exactly what I feel Broadway Theater is supposed to be. I plan on seeing this play again. It's easy to see what Santino won the Tony - he is just amazing! I didn't want the play to end! Fun, fun show!

Was laughing at every line. So well acted. So deserving of the 2019 Tony Award for lead actor!

We thought the actors were excellent! So much fun! And the adaptation to stage versus soap opera on what they were doing was great! The songs: what action! It was cold in there --- we were in the balcony!

THE PLAY WAS LIGHT AND AIRY. I FOUND MYSELF ENJOYING THE DOUBLE ENTENDRES. A HIGH RECOMMENDATION

Excellent! You will definately laugh and agree that Tootsie is an enjoyable show. Extremely entertaining so time goes by fast. There isn't a bad seat in the theater. The stage sets are amazing as well as the singing, dancing, & costume changes.

This musical remake of the movie follows the same premise but the plot diverges in a delightful way. The acting is excellent and the lines very funny. Highly recommended.

The show was very funny and the cast was excellent. One of the best musicals I have seen over the 35 years of going to broadway shows. I highly recommend it.

A must see!! The actors are insanely talented and the show is so funny. Online it said appropriate for ages 10 and up, but there is a bit of adult humor and language so I probably would have said 16 and up. It was amazing!! Buy your tickets now!!

The story repurposed to be relevant and positive. The best dancing, singing, costumes. And FUNNY!
