TOOTSIE on Tour
"I LAUGHED MY MASCARA OFF." -ABC
Dorothy Michaels is the biggest sensation to hit Broadway in years. She's talented, outspoken, and an inspiration to everyone around her. In fact, she's quite literally too good to be true. Because squeezed into Dorothy's sensible size-12 pumps is actually Michael Dorsey, an out-of-work actor willing to do anything for a job — even if it means playing way against type. Now, as audiences fall for Dorothy and Michael starts to fall for the woman of his dreams, he's learning that the hardest part of show business isn't getting to the top... it's keeping up the act.
Starring Tony® nominee Santino Fontana, TOOTSIE is "the must-see musical comedy of the season!" (ABC). Don't miss this "outrageously funny" (Time Out) new production featuring a score by Tony winner David Yazbek (The Band's Visit, The Full Monty), a book by Robert Horn, choreography by Tony nominee Denis Jones, and direction by eight-time Tony nominee and Olivier Award winner Scott Ellis.

A hilarious delicious musical with amazing leading roles. The whole family loved it
It was abasically a good play, just don't see the need for the foul language
A wonderful musical. Santino Fontana amazing voice of both Michael and Dorothy are breath taking. Slap happy and perfect delivery of the entire cast was amazing. But...the ending left me bored.
Fun, laughter and the most incredibly talented cast make this a must-see! Run, don’t walk to se these last shows! It will leave a void when it closes!
We Had low expectations (as we had not heard much about the show) but this was an absolute surprise! The cast is fantastic! The script was funny and it was an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend this to everyone.
Great venue within a hotel! unique! Made lining up to get in a breeze because you are inside the building. Refreshment stands well placed on both levels, great merch stand - even had the Original Broadway Cast recording on VINYL! and we were able to get it signed at the Stage Door by the cast. Great view from our balcony seats. yummy Tootsie-themed frozen drinks with souvenir cups. FANTASTIC cast! Funny, and entertaining from start to finish. Not a bad seat in the place! Highly recommend it.
This show was amazing. Every and I mean every character was terrific. Hard to believe it is leaving broadway. The lead character played the part better than Dustin Hoffman in the movie. In fact this was funnier and better than the movie.
The musical comedy was better than expected. Friends and I could not stop laughing at jokes. This production much funnier than original movie. The characters in this play were terrific. Only negative was that the people sitting next to me had a overwhelming strong odor of fried food.
Loved the show very funny , seamlessly performed . The actors were wonderful and so fun to watch
Toostie, lots of laughs and superb acting. Our family enjoyed every second! Highly recommend!
One of the best Broadway shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tootsie is running only into the first week of January, so you might want to grab tickets now. It is funny, with many laugh-out-loud moments, and it has a few differences with the movie, if you saw it in the 80s. The male lead took a lot of cues from Dustin Hoffman’s character, however, and it works very well. I do not think Dustin could have ever pulled off the musical’s vocals, however. I was afraid the music in this would be thoughtless or over-the-top, but it is cleverly written and always advances the story and develops the characters. I hold a reservoir of giggles every time I recall Sandy’s neurotic-but-cute delivery of a string of lyrics. It is a night of adult comedy. Leave the kids at home and enjoy a guilty pleasure.
Great handling of the original story. Outstanding staging. Perfect cast! The grownups AND the teen kids were laughing throughout this play. Everyone in this cast is wonderful, but Sarah Stiles (as Sandy Lester) is truly hilarious!
We laughed our heads off. Hilariously funny. Great NYC sets and costumes.
I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the theater, for starters. We laughed so much throughout the whole show! If you are looking for a fun night out, this is it! The actors were incredible! I can’t say enough positive things about it.
Tootsie was entertaining and enjoyable but not great. It dealt with gender issues better than original movie. The ending was a little underwhelming. It needed a stronger ending perhaps with a big number.
Tootsie was a fabulous show to bring a smile to your face! Bright, lively, funny ... it had it all.
We really enjoyed every minute of the show. We can not understand why it is closing.
Play was fantastic. Performance as well as creativity of the show was riveting. Absolutely recommended to see,
