  • Please lmk about an opening band

    by Pdawg1 on 8/26/18The Paramount - HuntingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Yes, it’s a concert. Yes, i dont expect the band to start in time. Yes, it was my choice to travel over an hour to get to the venue. However, almost two hours post start time is a bit much... Definitely sucked the joy out of my 13 year old first concert experience!! The opening band was something I would never pay to see. They played much too long and their sound was out of balance. So loud-couldn’t determine if the lead singer was singing or mumbling. The musicians seemed talented just poorly rehearsed. Too bad Thankfully Toots was on point and put on a good show!! Glad to know they still have it.

  • The man still got it!!!

Glad to see one of Roots Reggaes legendary performers in OCEANCITY MD. Great show at Seacreats Jamaica USA intimate show up close with Toots.

  • the best

by Gabisan on 7/30/18The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Toots is a living legend, and the band is mostly comprised of family now, and they are amazing. Top quality sound & musicians, they smoothly transition from beat to ska, sweet to rockin, and I can't stop dancing.

  • Toots is sweet and dandy

by Hoveme on 7/14/18The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

The man who invented the word 'Reggae' is still fresh and energetic. And the two lady singers were wonderful.

  • Great music, great crowd, great dancing, GREAT FUN

by LaurenSG on 8/23/16State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Toots still has it! His band was great, his singing was strong, and he played the crowd and got us really in to it. He played his classics and a couple I didn't know. I danced my heart out the whole time and had SO MUCH FUN! I'd recommend Toots to anyone who loves reggae or dancing. Wish I could do it all over again this weekend!

  • Legend - cannot believe how much he jumps around!

  • Ehh

by HoochieCoochieCoo on 5/30/13Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 2 out of 5

First time seeing Toots; tenth time at an Anders show. Anders's passionate accoustic play sat well, although I much prefer him electric with his band. Where's Dufresne? You could tell Toots and his folks were frozen stiff from the weather. Maybe next time...

  • Toots is Ageless!

by SeasideFun on 5/28/13Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show! Despite the cold weather, wind and rain, Toots sounded amazing! I can't wait for him to come back!

  • Toots was late.

by Anonymous on 5/27/13Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 1 out of 5

Forget the freezing weather, Toots came on 45 minutes late. No excuse.

  • Toots,Ravers and cold

Ravers never sound bad even after seeing them a lot of times they kicked ass as usual. First time seeing Toots and the Maytals and they sounded great I would deffinatly see them again. Great show but bad weather.

  • Toots excellent

by JahRastafariG on 5/27/13Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 5 out of 5

Great show and vibe at Newport RI waterfront show. Poor weather conditions were irrelevant as Toots and the Maytals had the whole place dancing and singing away to their awesome acoustic performance.
