The stage name Too Short is a bit of an oxymoron for a rapper who launched his career in the early 1980s and continues to impress audiences with songs like "The Ghetto" and "Blow the Whistle." One of the major pioneers of West Coast rap, Too Short has maintained a productive career for over three decades. The legendary emcee performs infrequently, yet tickets to his shows are a hot commodity as fans line up to hear his extensive musical works that span 19 albums, 10 of which have earned gold or platinum status. No tour has been announced for 2014, although Too Short is expected to perform a concert or two over the course of the year. Too Short re-emerged in 2006 with "Blow the Whistle," peaking at No. 14 on the Billboard 200, his highest selling and most critically acclaimed album in years. He followed up with "Get Off The Stage" (2007), "Still Blowin'" (2010) and "No Trespassing" (2012). Along with "Still Blowin'" and "No Trespassing," Too Short has performed a variety of guest tracks for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, 50 Cent, Lil' Jon, Scarface and Wiz Khalifia. He is also featured on Lady Gaga's track "Jewels and Drugs" alongside T.I. and Twista.
Too Short was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and started performing in the early '80s with friend Freddy B. He released his first studio album, "Born to Mack," in 1987. Too Short helped build the West Coast scene and was instrumental in the work of fellow California rappers Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg. He also collaborated with The Notorious B.I.G. and Scarface. Too Short continued to build his rap empire throughout the 1990s and 2000s and was honored by VH1 as a Hip-Hop Legend.

The show was a great presentation of Oakland Hip.Hop! Rap Legends & Stars on deck. What it Dew!
Nothing much down time between performers so the crowd didn't become unruly. A good experience. Sound quality was good.
None better. The surprise added guest fire.will be there for the next show. All in all good time.
One of the best West Coast / Bay Area shows I have ever attended!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wasn’t sold out! I was surprised but the tickets should’ve been a bit cheaper. Plus it wasn’t announced enough maybe more people would’ve attended. I found out by word of mouth. Overall it was all good vibes.
Enjoyed the concert, but it took 40 min to an hour for each of the main acts to come out. The. Too Short has all of Oakland on the stage! Didn’t come to see all that! CD she rocked it!!! But all in it was fun. Time is money, they need to be on time!
It was dope. All love, classic songs, guest appearances, NO FIGHTING..NO SHOOTING..IT WAS VERY NICE!!
I had a nice time the performances were definitely great 👍.
Everyone did a excellent job .but one issues is when you buy front seat tickets other come from there sit ans stand right in front of you and .you have to stand up to see the show security such have been trained on that issues because it was uncomfortable to keep as people to move so you can see the show.
A great place to see a show, everything was good. Thanks!
It was an overwhelming experience! To actually witness these legends perform was a event I'll truly never forget!😎
I hadn’t had that much fun at a concert in a long time. It started on time. The MC was great a hosting in between acts and keeping the party going. Everybody performed great and we had a ball. It was like a nonstop party. It was nice to see Scarface after the years he has had. He also mentioned this will probably be his last show. Blessings to him.
Twista saved the show to bad he was the first act. Scarface is sick, pray for him he gave what he could. Bun B brought it for real. Mysticals voice is no more, he was lip synching and not well. 8 ball and Mjg underwhelmed and for some reason did not play there big cuts. Sir Too was too lame. No stage show at all, emcee/promoter was other than twista most entertaining.
Had a wonderful time need to do more good older crowd it was wonderful everybody performed well
The First thing was the setup was tacky wires obscured the view of the stage and the second thing was the sound was horrible you really couldn't hear the artist you only knew what they were saying if you were familiar with the artist
We couldn’t understand nothing. The sound was terrible
The concert was okay the performers did the thing but they were very unorganized because it took the artist too long to come out to the stage and people started to leave including myself and my wife and Friends not to mention DJ Quik never showed up. And we didn't even get the chance to see juvenile because they took too long it was almost 12 before they got him out
Enjoyed myself immensely! Performances were awesome and the venue was perfect!
Too Short was Great as well as Scarface, Mystikal, UGK and Everyone else.
