Toby McKeehan, better known as tobyMac, has spent most of his life as a successful Christian recording artist. The Virginia native first formed the vocal trio DC Talk in 1987, creating five major studio efforts and an EP, all of which merged gospel and rap with tinges of alt-rock. One sign of their reach: four of the six releases earned Grammy Awards in the Best Rock Gospel Album category.
In 2000, after several rounds of European and North American concerts, DC Talk called it quits, leaving tobyMac to focus on his solo career. In 2001, the performer unleashed “Momentum,” followed by nine other records. Now one of the most well-known performers in the Christian rap genre, tobyMac received his own Grammy nod for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album with his fifth studio set, “Eye on It,” which surfaced in August 2012.
TobyMac, who continues headlining the occasional tour, has hit the road in years past with other popular ticket-selling Christian outfits like Audio Adrenaline, Skillet and Jamie Grace.
One of the best Christian concerts I have ever been to. Tobymac definitely knows how to entertain from music, to synchronized dancing it was a hit. I loved how it was well worth the trip and money. I would definitely go again.
This was my 1st ever concert and it was amazing to see all the great artists I have listened for a long time in person. Great worshiping Jesus and having fun! Would have loved more songs from the other artists aside from TobyMac but it was still a great experience!
Each performer was fantastic.. It was great to hear Mac Powell do some Third Day songs. Lord how I miss that group. Each performer gave their all . TobyMac's performance blew me away. He is a top performer. Everything was great, but they saved the best for last.
Had a great time at the TobyMac Hits Deep tour. So nice to be part of such a positive event.
One of the best Gospel concerts that I have ever been to!!! I can't wait to see him again. The lineup Gospel artists that's touring with Toby were Amazing as well!! The presence of the Holy Spirit was truly in the house!!!
I truly feel blessed going to this awesome concert with my 16 year old son David and his mom. They opened strong with Jon Reddick and several other performers then closed with Toby Mac . Best show ever with great seats on the floor. What a great feeling traveling 2 hours going home after leaving such a great performance, we talked about all the way home
Toby Mac is always a blessing as a performer and witness. He brings along quality artists who are such a joy. This is an event I look forward to every year! Thank you!
I have seen TobyMac about 6 times. He Never disappoints. Always high energy and full of positive vibe. Great band. Christian or not TobyMac and Divercity Brings it Always. I just hope the next time I see him and I will; He sings “Show Up Choose Love” from Life After Death CD. Probably my Favorite but I do Love the Goodness. See you again soon in Boston
Sound was off at Liacouras. Bass and drums drowned out the TobyMac singers. Concert in NC last year was so much better than this.
Amazing show! Toby never disappoints! Loved every minute from beginning to end! Can’t wait for him to come back!
Amazing to gather with believers and sing and dance to glorify God. I loved the variety of artists. TobyMac is authentic and also a great entertainer.
What a great concert! Every performance was outstanding. So much fabulous music in one evening. It met all of my expectations. Toby Mac was everything I had heard he would be. So encouraging to see so many people young and old gathered to praise and worship Jesus in one place. GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! SO DON'T GIVE UP HOPE FOR THIS MESSY WORLD WE LIVE IN. Keep sharing the gospel and telling your friends about Jesus and his love for them no matter what.
What a fantastic concert! What great artists who love Jesus and praise him in song. I was so happy to be there after listening to Klove during a 2 year journey of grief due to a fatality that led to the death of my husband. My journey of healing included listening to Toby Mac and others on Klove. What a great God who heals! I praise him and thank him for his merciful love.
One of the best concert experiences ever!! Friendly, well organized staff helped us find our seats, even in a basketball arena without installed numbered seats. Food options were plentiful and affordable. There were plenty of restrooms, and many spaces for merchandise tables. The lineup of singers was incredibly good and kept us on our feet! But honestly, no one can hold a candle to TOBYMAC and the Diverse City Band ‼️‼️‼️ Whether fast-paced hip hop, loud rock, or soulful ballads, this man can write honest and touching lyrics for any song. His songs are always Biblical and encouraging. TOBYMAC performs with his unforgettable voice and a flawless, breathtaking choreography, joined by his band, which just leaves you dancing and singing and worshiping and thanking the Lord ‼️
The whole evening was packed with worshipping our Lord and Savior. It was a GREAT night. Thank you to the opening acts, great groups.
Great line up—5 openers and then Toby Mac. It was 3.5 hrs of music praising Jesus. I would go again! The venue was great…they even had people directing traffic in the parking garage which helped us get out quickly close to 11pm.
TobyMac and Friends was fantastic! Loved the various opening acts and the energy and encouragement of TobyMac. For a person who’s been through a lot, he’s enthusiastic and on fire for God. Great for families and all ages. Liacora Center is a great venue. Make sure to reserve and prepay parking at the Liacora Garage.
We bought good seats. We were sitting on the floor it was a fabulous show. I've been coming for the last 4 years. To say Toby Mack and everybody else in the show and it's never a disappointment. I will continue coming. Love every bit..
Toby Mac never fails in his Hit Deep tours. They are so entertaining.
Great concert from all the artists. The show flowed from one act to the next smoothly. We arrived 1 hour before the show having reserved parking in the attached garage, security line wasn't too bad. Venue was great! Got out if garage so quickly. Would come back again for sure!
