TOADIES IN CONCERT:
Alt-rock icons the Toadies are back on the road, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 1994 debut album Rubberneck with a series of grungy, distortion-laden shows. Performing the classic album front to back alongside hits from their other releases, the Toadies take the stage with the same muscular sound that propelled them to fame back in the '90s, and audiences wouldn't have it any other way. From "Possum Kingdom" to "Doll Skin," fans can expect to hear all their favorites as the band hits the road for their Rubberneck 20th Anniversary Tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Texas in 1989, the Toadies toiled in relative obscurity before skyrocketing to fame with their seminal 1994 debut LP Rubberneck. The album spawned six singles including the wildly successful tracks "Possum Kingdom" and "Away," earning platinum certification by the RIAA and landing the band on tour with a number of big-name acts including the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bush. After y ears of extensive touring, the band released their highly anticipated sophomore LP Hell Below/Stars Above in 2001,but went on hiatus after the album failed to gain traction. Following a five-year hiatus, the band reunited in 2006 and they've been at it ever since, treating fans to another round of shows on their Rubberneck 20th Anniversary Tour in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"20 years later and they never fail to impress. The show was beyond unbelievable!"
"Toadies proved that they still rock!! Not only did they sound great live, but they put on a stellar show. Playing the oldies (which had the whole crowd singing) and showcasing the new stuff."
"After playing the entire Rubberneck album to open their show, they then proceeded on to playing a variety of their best songs from their other albums... The band fed off of the energy of the crowd and vice versa."

Respected the toadies for years. They’ve never failed us!
Really enjoyed the smaller venue, the toadies were great!
Everything from the bands preforming to the venue was amazing!!! Both bands have amazing crowd presence. This was my second time seeing The Toadies, and my first time seeing Flickerstick. Would love to see both again! The venue was amazing at getting everyone in quickly and the staff were all friendly! Looking forward to attending this venue again!
Great venue, great band, great time. We will definitely be watching for another band that we want to come see at the House of Blues.
I love the Toadies and they definitely didn't disappoint! My 15 year old daughter enjoyed the concert as well! The opening band, Flickrstick, had good music but the lead singer was awful! He dropped the microphone, was stumbling on stage and his vocals were awful! The lead singer of Flickrstick seemed like he was drunk or on something! He shouldn't have been hitting that vape pen during the show either.... Good music from the rest of the band though. The drummer and bassist were killing it!
It was great getting to see the Toadies indoors since they usually play outdoors. The Toadies playing in The House of Blues can't be beat!! Luv ya Lots Toadies!
I never thought I would get to see Doosu live again. Mike Graff, Doosu and the Toadies rocked and all were amazing
The bands were amazing and I don’t want to take away from that but the house of blues has to be one of the most poorly designed venues I’ve ever been too. They over sell tickets and the whole place was a hostile environment. I don’t care who the band is, I will NEVER go back to that joke of a place again.
The House of Blues was a solid venue. The Toadies were awesome as always.
Toadies did great! House of Blues did not. Way overpacked. Hot beer and nowhere to stand.
The venue was perfect! This was my first time seeing the Toadies since they hit the scene. I’ve been a fan from the beginning in high school but never got the opportunity. I will see them every time they come to town religiously! Unbelievable show!!!
was a fair show...opening band sucked!!Toadies were ok but show was short...
Awesome show start to finish. Even the opening act was worth sitting through. Highly recommend
This was mybsecond time seeing The Toadies live at the Culture Room. The first time i still tell people was one of the greatest concerts of my life. This time my wife and i are a bit older than the last show. We planned to show up and hang out in the back and experience the show like the old people (37 and 40) we are lol. Once they set foot in that stage the energy started flowing. The showed out in true Toadies fashion! Once again i can tell people that the Toadies at the Culture Room, both times, are some of the greatest shows I've ever attended... and between my wife and i we have attended a bunch. Keep live music alive, and keep music Evil! 🤘
end of tour but played like it was the beginning. Sounded prefect!!!
Vaden's voice was mesmerizing. They have definitely gotten better with age, just like a fine wine. Show was awesome. Wasnt happy with the venue, but thats not their fault. Cant wait to hear their new album/see them again. The whole band was amazing.
Toadies have not only NOT lost a step, their maturity made for an impeccable performance. The band was 100% on point. The venue was a perfect size. The crowd was electrified and the energy was fantastic. Granted, at 56 years old, I was the grandfather of the crowd but this show brought me back to my 20s in an instant.
Love the Toadies. From their town and listened to, and seen them for many years. Only draw back, please leave politics out of shows. Left or right, doesn't matter. We pay good money to go see a great show and remove ourselves for several hours from the issues of the country. The venue was awesome and all 3 bands sounded great. Hopefully when i see The Toadies again, it will be political free and just great Music.
The energy from the crowd and band was one of the more beautiful things I have seen in 25 plus years of attending concerts. Yes I have seen a who’s who of rock n roll bands and yet somehow nothing touched the fun of this show!
