TLC in Concert
Bucking a festival trend that reached its apex with Tupac's digitized 2012 appearance at Coachella, TLC will not be using a hologram of late member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes on their 2014 tour dates. Instead, T-Boz and Chilli hold it down as a duo, tastefully honoring Left Eye with passionate renditions of their biggest hits. Performing in 2013 in celebration of their 20th anniversary, TLC reminded fans just why they remain the top-selling American girl group of all time.
Combining R&B, hip hop, and soul, TLC rose to international superstardom in the '90s with a string of multi-platinum albums and No. 1 singles. Their 1992 debut Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip spawned several hits, but it was 1994 sophomore album CrazySexyCool that really put them on the map. Boasting two international No. 1's with "Creep" and "Waterfalls," CrazySexyCool became the first diamond-certified album by a female group, earning them two Grammy wins out of four nominations. Their run continued with 1999's FanMail, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and contained the era-defining classic "No Scrubs," winner of Best R&B song at the 2000 Grammys. In the wake of the death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in 2002, T-Boz and Chilli have carried on TLC's legacy, celebrating 20 years of hits in 2013 with a compilation and tour.

TLC was the highlight of the night. They were amazing. I really enjoyed seeing them perform. I would go see them again. šš¾šš¾šš¾
Enjoyed the concert immensely. The venue (Concord Pavilion) was great, once you got in. Getting in and parking was a huge hassle, in spite of paying an extra $60 for premier parking.
It was nice to get out and have a good time. The venue was easy to get to. The parking was easy in and easy out. I was relieved to see police present. It was fun to see everyone having a good time. We came for En Vogue and TLC, and did not leave disappointed. They definitely shouldāve been headliners but Iām just grateful I got to see them. Great show.
The concord pavilion oversells lawn tickets and there's literally so many people they are filling up the sidewalk behind the lawn. With all those people you can't see anything.
TLC is still doing what they do! They still have the moves, the vocals, the beauty and had the crowd going. Love the tribute that T-Boz and Chili made sure Left Eye their forever sister will be a part of their performance. I just wish they would have been the headliner so we could have been able to enjoy even more of their hits!
Such a great show and amazing performances. The performers to the dancers had the audience captivated and dancing all night long.
I grew up with TLC and this was my second time seeing them in concert. They never disappoint. I did not want the show to end.
At start time there was a thunderstorm. It lasted an hour at that time sean Kingston was canceled. Witch was un fair for his fans. Envogue did a great job. Tlc came on after 1 or 2 songs there was a power outage. It last about 20-30 minutes. They were great. Then shaggy closed the show. He was awesome. Really got the people going. I would think the venue would have had back up genators. Overall the acts I seen were great but taking sean Kingston away all together was wrong. He could have at least did 1 or 2 songs or at least come out and tell the crowd he was not able to perform.

T Boz, amazing woman, strength, courage and dedication. Her voice is still so fulfilling. Chili is still the songstress, beautiful and elegant.
We enjoyed the show. It was clear the performers were not tolerating the high Valley of the Sun heat very well. It seemed like TLC may have cut their performance short because they only really did four or five sounds when you subtract the dancers and band routines.
Hello! I had the misfortune of someone saying they had tickets to my seats. I purchased my tickets from Ticketmaster and had the receipts. Nonetheless, I was asked to show my tickets to 4 different security staff. Iām sure that was annoying for those seated around usā¦ and what I disliked about the ordeal was having to stand my ground and tell the patrons to leave my seats. Iām sure that shocked some concert goers, but Iām certain thereās no way they obtained the tickets legally. Other than that, the event was hot. Sizes of merch were sold out at the end of the second group. I wish there were more options for water. Thank you!
TLC was fabulous as always!!! Too long between artists. Shaggy was terrible and we left early!
I was pretty disappointed in TLCās recent Phoenix show. The first thing is that they were billed as the headliner but did not close out the show, so they werenāt really the headliner... The second, and most frustrating thing, was that they only played a 7-song set list. No other show on their tour had them playing only 7 songs, which is unprofessional and unacceptable for a supposed āheadlining actā. Honestly, after they cancelled their Phoenix area show in 2021, I really felt we deserved better this time around. We at least deserved the show that every other stop on the tour got, NOT a 7-song setā¦ and finally, most of their larger sizes of merchandise ran out a few shows prior to the Arizona show, and they didnāt bother to restock, so we got whatever was left, which was only small sizes in all but 1 or 2 shirts. If I had to do it again, I would not have attended this show if I would have known all of these things beforehand. Like I stated, Iām extremely frustrated and disappointed with the very short show, the Phoenix area fans deserved better than what we got.
Sean Kingston was cool but the sound wasn't great, en vogue was on point. Next was supposed to be shaggy but employees there said he was "stuck in the bathroom"but we must have waited 30 to 45 mins for him but TLC ended up performing. TLC performed maybe 30 mins? And then we had to wait again for shaggy for another 30 mins. I was there for TLC. Would have loved to see more of them. Anyway. We left the concert a little early.
TLC was awesome! The heat was horrible, but they made the best of it. It was no secret how the heat was affecting them. The Venue needs to work on better air flow for the performers.
The concert was outside and on a day when it was 114 degrees. To say it was hot is an understatement. The heat definitely seemed to take a toll on everyone performing. I expected more from TLC. Looked like they were lip syncing their performance which was disappointing.
Sean, En Vogue, and TLC did a great job. They sounded great and kept the audience engaged. However, I would have liked it better if TLC did more songs. What about Red Light Special and my favorite, Diggin On You. TLC's performance was too short...I want more!! En Vogue sounded awesome I just wish this concert would have started at 8pm after dark. Shaggy was horrible, he should be replaced with someone else or be the first act.
Had a great time at the Hot Summer Nights show in Phoenix! All performances were amazing!
