Went into this concert by myself feeling super exhausted from the week and not expecting much, but as soon as they came out on stage I felt instantly energized. They have such a unique presence unlike anything else, and I had such a great evening dancing along to their music. So beautiful

Great show, amazing energy, love their music 🎶. Great reception, the crowd was so receptive to the music .... until the next time

I had a wonderful time with Tinariwen performance. They have exceeded my expectations. BRAVO!! The opening band though was horrible and gave me a headache. If I knew, I would have arrived 45minutes late to avoid suffering through them. Please announce in advance which opening band is playing to let us choose.

Fantastic music and dance! Well presented with the lights changing so sometimes they were on the group, other times on the audience. The colored lights in the background were very effective. One of the Tinawen members leapt up and down and his dancing was infectious. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.

On July 24th, The show in Philadelphia at the Underground art was great, TAMACHEK is most understandable….. wish Brahim Abraybon was there, but Saddam from Imarhan was amazing and stunning. Hassan and other members were just awesome Love the traditional outfits. Viva TOUAREG .

Tinariwen put on a great show. Loved their energy, performance, and the dancing. I give the band 5 stars but the venue had sound mix issues. It was hard to hear the singing. It was very hard to hear the singing by the opening band. It was better for Tinariwen but it was still a problem. I saw them several years ago at the Warner Theater and the sound was much better there. Anyway, I would see them again!

As my wife noted the crowd (sold out) was somewhat over enthusiastic. Most of the set was very low key. Since the lyrics are incomprehensible the music is everything. And when they wanted to they showed they can be more dynamic but that was the exception. Traditional music played through electric guitars. Don’t regret going but probably wouldn’t again.

These rhythms speak to that part of your soul that connects with everything. Second time I’ve seen them and even better than before. If you’re not sure, go. You will be glad you did.
