About

Thunderstruck: America’s AC/DC tribute gives fans so much more than the sound of AC/DC, they truly capture the high voltage energy and experience.  For fans, it’s about a sense of familiarity, and it’s about a feeling that snatches up listeners and takes over.  It’s about a contagious kind of power and electricity that few AC/DC tribute bands can provide!

From Tyler Melen’s ridiculously non-stop on-stage performance replicating the Angus Young of the 70’s and 80’s, to Bobby Lee Stamper’s versatile vocals mimicking both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson ranges, to the incredible rhythm section made up of Kevin Feller on rhythm guitar, Corey Baetz on drums, and Chris Jones on bass, Thunderstruck gives a complete and consistently authentic live show as true to the spirit of AC/DC that you can possibly get!

Thunderstruck: America’s AC/DC tribute has performed tribute shows throughout the nation, with a consistent record of sold out shows from coast-to-coast.  Thunderstruck, officially established in 2015 (but existing in other variations for several years prior), has continued to grow its fan base by building and maintaining relationships with some of the nation’s biggest promoters and venues, such as Live Nation and the House of Blues, as well as by performing at major music festivals including the Pensacola Tribute Fest and Parr Fest, in addition to live stream performances for major brands such as Number Juan Tequila and Monsters of Rock.

Thunderstruck is also the only AC/DC tribute band in the United States to have a major national brand partnership, which is with Number Juan Tequila, owned and operated by Alex Reymundo (Rednexican, Latin Kings of Comedy), and Ron White (Blue Collar Comedy, Horrible Bosses, Comedy Central Presents).

  • AC/DC Powerful

by GMan on 2/3/25Paramount Theatre - AndersonRating: 5 out of 5

This show is amazing, and it felt like we were watching the real band. The Brian Johnson lead vocals sounds just like Brian Johnson and the lead guitar player looks like a young Angus Young and plays exceptionally. They played all the great songs, so this is a show you don't want to miss!!!

  • Thunderstruck was GREAT!!

by Timmy on 1/14/25House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Thunderstruck was GREAT!! What wasn't great was House of Blues. We had a big challenge with having to buy 2 sets of tickets - (1) Ticketmaster and then (2) Live Nation upgrade to a table with 4 seats without arms or cushions with people in front of us "on the rail"partially blocking our view - even though we paid $55 each for that upgrade. Then, there was a person blocking us going to our seats - when all he had to do was ask for my driver's license that matches the name that was on the on the table! I will definitely arrange to see Thunderstruck again, but it won't be at House of Blues!

I am a big AC/DC fan, and have been since 1980 . Thunderstruck is the next best thing to AC/DC. I have never seen a tribute band as close as the actual band but them. They are awesome guys in the band and I look forward to seeing them again. I could go to their concerts over and over ( infinity ) Curt Brown Monroe,Ohio

  • Thunderstruck’s live performance was unforgettable!

by Nu on 10/22/24House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

The highlight for me was their performance of “Thunderstruck,” which had the entire crowd singing along, headbanging, and feeding off the band’s intense energy. It was the perfect mix of raw power and precision. Beyond just playing the hits, Thunderstruck made the concert a real experience. Their interaction with the crowd was exceptional, drawing everyone in as if we were part of the band itself. It wasn’t just during the set either—they took time after the show to engage with fans, adding a personal touch that made the night even more special. Can’t wait to see them in MN!
