We had an amazing family day at this show. Excellent acts, costumes, and attention to detail. Very entertaining. Worth the price paid and I'm not one to say that often about things.
We had a family night out and found the performance to be very enjoyable. The staging was colorful and interesting. My elderly mother and mother-in-law enjoyed the ability to concentrate on all the acts. I would definitely recommend this show as it was very entertaining.
The program was amazing! The performers were awesome! At times, it was like a circus from the 1950's with jugglers, gymnasts, singers, and dancers. At other times, it was reminiscent of vaudeville from the '30s, with magicians, skaters, contortionist, and dancers. A remarkable evening!
The Orpheum Theater is a beatiful piece of architecture. Arriving early allowed my daughter and I to walk around and enjoy all the details of this masterpiece. The Cirque show was a fun mix of music, gymnastics and holiday cheer! It was amazing to see all the performers could accomplish on such a small stage. The show was an entertaining introduction to cirque for my 7 year old. Part of the experience were the comfortable seating, attractive theater and the wide array of acts during this performance. Well worth what we paid and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Special thanks to the manager, Jason, for taking care of a ticket issue for us. It really made the evening for us.
The acrobats, fliers, jugglers, etc. were all amazing. The music was not as good, in fact a bit annoying, but the performers are well worth seeing.
Couldn't believe how wonderful it was to visually see the show. I was astounded by the gymnastic stuff.
Quite a dazzling and fast-paced production! Such a talented cast and the costumes and scenery were spectacular. Our grandchildren ages 7, 8, 9, and 10 would have loved it.
The show "Holidaze' was an amazing performance as many of the Cirque shows. It was colorful, interactive, always had something to keep your eyes entertained! The music was festive and everyone left in the best holiday spirits. A definite must see for all! not just for children....the Orpheum is a wonderful theatre to see shows...all seats give great views.
This was an incredible performance. I would definitely recommend it again. The acts were beyond belief and the sound and lights were fabulous. A+++
Great night of entertainment. It's hard to explain, as it is aa combination of gymnastics, illusions, comedy, song & dance.
I was blown away by how good this was. The dancers, especially the lead, were truly amazing and they did five encores after the show to the continued cheering of the crowd.
Spamalot was a nice example of Monty Python live. It was just as hilarious live as on the big screen.
THE BEST comedy musical I have ever seen. The actors and actresses were so full of life and absolutely enjoyed their roles. I was impressed. I have never actually viewed the movie but it makes me want to buy it. Well done!
Had a great time, laugh out loud funny, and awesome seats!
This is a show not to be missed, whether you are a Monty Python fan or not. Following along mostly the story line of "The Holy Grail", many other nice bits of the troop's other films (Life of Brian, anyway) and skits were peppered in. It was at times cheeky, but never raunchy.
Saw this production on Broadway a few years ago. The Orpheum has done a beautiful job in recreating a Broadway experience. Love the story. Had section C row 27 seats 9-12. The sound was not loud enough to hear most of the actors thru the first half. Don't know what happened but the second half was much lounder. Great production but at times the actors seemed rushed. Wish they would have slowed down a bit. Great show and great theatre.
Friday night's performance of "Spamalot" was well received. We were able to clearly hear the lines from the back of the lower floor. The sets were imaginative and well utilized. The timing of the orchestra and the actors made us laugh out loud. An enjoyable evening, we look forward to next year's season.
The theatre is done in the old school style. Very nice to visit, the words of the music was easy to hear and understand unlike Gammage. The show was funny, and the staff polite. All in all a great night out.
The play is just as funny as the movie it is based on. Everyone in the cast is having such a great time and it shows.
