excellent show w/ updated acts
by charlynm on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5we had a great time. husband, 5-year-old & 18-month-old. both children were thoroughly entertained and sat at attention during the ENTIRE show! during intermission, we walked around (beware of the high-priced gimicky toys & snacks - but knowing that it's a disney show should already prepare you). disney, or any musical is not my husband's thing, but he enjoyed watching the kids excitement.
Disney on Ice Better Each Year
by MommyTwoThousand on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5I have been taking my children to Disney on Ice for the last 20 years. The shows just keep getting better. Every year my autistic son buys takes what feels like an hour to decide on his treat. Then he spends what feels like an hour after the show returning it and deciding on something else. The staff are always so patient. It is a wonderful experience for our whole family.
Cute Show but Expensivw
by Sylvr on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 3 out of 5The kids enjoyed the show but it got expensive 25bucks to park (give me a break) Then I had purchased 4 tickets then called in to buy 1 more ticket for another little girl whom is 2years 2 months and sat on my lap and was charged for an adult ticket (which is WRONG)...

Beautiful Show for ALL ages!
by KaseyC on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5"Disney on Ice" has done it again! Treasure Trove was one of the best values I've ever bought tickets for! The story was lovely with colorful, lively excerpts from many of your favorite Disney shows (Rapunzel, Snow White, and Lion King just to name a few.) And it wasn't just the kids whose jaws were hanging open or eyes got misty at moments. We brought a 6-year-old dressed up as Snow White who was in Fantasyland all night, but the parents and grandparents were just as enraptured! The Princess Revue was gorgeous, the moments of flight were wonderful (Peter Pan and Tink flew in as well as Aladdin's carpet), and the costumes were great! (Wait until you see the deck of cards from Alice!) Ticket will call line was run very efficiently and seats were easy to find. My only "Grumpy" moment was when I found out how much the parking cost! $25.00 is a bit steep, but if you bring a car-full, it still works out to be cheaper than BART! Great show for any Disney-lover young or old!

A new Treasure for your family!!!
by BigRedSyndi711 on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5This was our family's first time doing a Disney on Ice. We have a 5 year old girl and she LOVES Disney Characters. Her favorites are Rapunzel and Ariel, and they were very well represented during this show. Great stories on ice for The Lion King, The Incredibles, Snow White, Aladdin, Peter Pan (with Tinkerbell), and Princess and the Frog along with fun commentary with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. The only drawback I would say is if your daughter LOVES Belle, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) or Cinderella, they ONLY came out during the finale for about 5 minutes....their stories weren't covered specifically....so you can level-set expectations with your little ones. Luckily, my daughter really only loves Rapunzel, Ariel and Tinkerbell, and they were there so whew! But all around, a fun show for our first time, it started at 7 with an intermission and it was done by 9pm. I would definitely go again!! OH, PS - if you've never been, the kids dress up in their favorite characters. Luckily, we heard about this and our daughter went as...Rapunzel.

Excellent show. We took our 3 grandchildren and they were rapt and entertained the entire show. Loved it!
Fun filled...not only for the kids
by itsgracia on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5My 1 1/2 and 4 year old loved the show. Anything that can hold my 1 year old's attention is a winner for me. It is also not only for kids but also for the adults. I felt like i was reliving my childhood, watching Aladin and Lion King.

I was expecting more, but it was ok show. I think the coordination between each skit would have been much more effective. The lighting wasn't effective. It could be much better. Also, the choreography could be much better. I think such big ice stage could have been used in much more organized manner rather than just to a corner or placing more than half way of the stage. Lot of people sitting in sides couldn't see the face of artists when they are closing or standing on structures on the stage...

by Freemojo on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5We took our almost 3 year old daughter there for an early birthday present with 5 friends and their parents. Everyone had a wonderful time. The kids absolutely loved it. After the show they told us all of their favorite parts. It was great.

by Jeffreeee on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5One of the best disney on ice show that i've been to.
Disney on ice was fun
by Anonymous on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5The costumes and affects were great. The skating could have been better. Many of the skaters pulled out of their jumps. My daughter isnt' quite 3 yet so she hasn't seen many of the Disney movies so she didn't recognize many of the characters. She does know Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy and they made a few appearances. We would have liked to see the Mickey and Minie characters more often.

Disney on Ice magical
by DanisAbu on 10/17/11Oracle Arena - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5This show was great fun for people of all ages. My only complaint is that the princesses, especially Ariana, came on so late in the show. My 3 1/2 yr old grand daughter was so excited to see them and she kept waiting and waiting. All the anticipation wore her out and she was falling asleep by the time her favorite came out on the ice. She was not the only one worn out by the end of the show, all around us little girls were falling out. Please try to mix up the characters a bit so that the younger kids can enjoy more of the characters they like.....Mickey, Minnie, Dumbo, Pluto, characters in the most recent videos, etc. Other than that we all had a wonderful time and were not disappointed.
