The show was fun and we had good seats for the price.
Overall it was a great show for the family. I would recommend this show to everyone and would see it again.
My 5 year old loved the show. Everytime we go to a Disney on Ice event, we never leave disappointed.
We've been going to the Disney On Ice shows for the past 5 years, and every year they give joy to my kids. My youngest daughter even wanted to go back the same day to watch it again! My kids really love seeing Rapunzel and Tiana added to this year's show, but we hope to see more of Rapunzel's and Tiana's story in next year's show.
Loved this show. I took my 5 year old daughter and her friend and we had a wonderful time!
Overall the event was great, but it would be nice to see a bit more longer of the new disney skits, the recent movies. This is our 3rd time taking our daughter and the had the lion king again and peter pan again which was a bit slow, she did love all of the skating with the princesses and princes at the end and loved seeing Mulan, which we had not seen before! Loved that they incorporated Aladdin this time around too.
I took my 3 grandchildren (15,9,5 yrs old) & daughter. They had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We sat in the 2nd row from the rink and it was incredible to see the charaters up close. Time well spent.
This year, Disney changed up the program and instead of having 4 stories, there were more stories and made each story shorter. This really helped my son who's only 4 year old interest the entire time.
Costumes, sets, and performances were great. Only 4 stars due to the ridiculous amount of merchandising -- tons of Mickey hats, light-up toys, Rapunzel wigs, etc., and the vendors are very aggressive. Pretty hard to turn down when they come to your seat and hold the toy/treat right in front of your child's face -- but you need a second mortgage to buy the stuff!
I think it was not worth the hype around it . First half was boring and the kids were not happy . Frankly, when you do this kind of thing for the kids ,it needs to be little creative ,not just a bunch of people skating around in costume.
My son enjoyed himself, so I'd definitely consider the show a success. I was worried it would be too girly, but it wasn't. It was a good show. My only disappointment was in the lack of use of 3D effects (things coming down from the ceiling, bigger animated props, etc.) I feel they could have used more dimension.
My lil' girl Loved it. From the beginning to end, the show kept us all entertained.
my granddaughter is 4 1/2 and never stopped watching them skate. She loved all the princesses and the lights. Tinker Bell floats along the stage high above and she is beautiful. The skaters were amazing and the costumes were unreal. Nothing about the show was boring or a waste of time. They used every minute to entertain you. It was not a slow moving production either. Lots of great music and the charters interacted with the audience and my granddaughter loved it. I wish i could have just posted a pic of her face and everyone would know just how great it was. If you get a chance to see this DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO. Well worth the price..
I go to Disney on Ice all the time but I really really enjoyed this one... Only thing that sucked was that Tangled could have been better...
It was a great show. The black lighting on the costumes for Ariel was spectacular.
Took my 23 month old daughter and 4 year old son and they loved it. I was worried they were going to be afraid because neither one of them is fond of dress up characters. But once Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald came out both of there little faces lit up. You could see the magic in there eyes. He really enjoyed Captain Hook and my little one loved Scar :) There was a lot of princesses that came out. I mean a lot. All of them skate out at the end. Worth the money it was a blast.
"Treasure Trove" was beautifully choreographed with amazing costumes, lighting, and incredible skaters. Prince and Princess will be entrhalled with the entire peformance. Come see all your favorite Disney friends in Disney On Ice Treasure Trove! You won't want to miss it!
I would recommend this to anyone that loves Disney. The only down fall that I didnt really like was that if you had been to the last years Disney shows, they had some of the same stuff in it! Although it bugged me, my 4 year old still loved every minute of it.
Great for kids and kids at heart. More time was given to the other princesses.
