We really enjoyed the show, I took my boyfriend there as part of his Birthday gift! The stage was set up nicely, no down time in between screens. It was entertaining, colorful and played out great!
The cast had a lot of chemistry which made the production flow smoothly.
Toto was absolutely the best. Me and my 11yo daughter were not impressed with the voice of Dorothy. The vibrato in her voice was overwhelming. The costumes were nice. The background set was lacking, especially when they landed in Oz. I would expect a lot more color and more wow.
We throughly enjoyed the play. I would go see it over and over again.
Great show, the lion was the best. Great adaptation, love the black and white to color contrast. Overall a great theater experience.

Very well done. Great performances. Only negative, is was too long, especially for children. Too many long musical numbers that added to length of show. However, we were impressed with the show itself.

The play was quite good and well done, very entertaining. But many children attended and it was quite long for them. Seems like some of the dance numbers could have been cut shorter to cut the time of the play to accommodate the kids. Otherwise, the production was very good!
I love The Wizard Of oz! Itâs my favorite movie & I took my dad to see the play for his birthday đ° he loved it
The music was sensational! I loved the costumes- especially the munchkins! My group thoroughly enjoyed the performance! The wicked witch was a beautiful shade of emerald!
Pretty good show. Good seats. Price of drinks and food a little pricey.
I'm a senior brought a date, my 10 yr old grand niece and 8 yr old grand nephew. Being school night performances only I couldn't bring my granddaughter who really wanted to go, why no weekend dates? Made it tough on the kids staying out late and getting up early. Overall enjoyed the performance acoustics were too loud, brought up by the 10 yr old and she was right. Acting, singing, set design, orchestra all very good. Did not like the added "Jitterbug" scene, feel like it doesn't fit into the time line, more like it was forced by someone who wanted to get their song/act into a proven play. Finally was disappointed there were no Playbills available, didn't know who who we were watching nor the musical schedule. The Saenger Theatre would not honor the discount drink coupons that come with season tickets.
I mostly wasnt a fan of all the digital special effects...usually the props are expected on live theatre shows, and I was more negatively surprised there was so much screen/projector use
Had a great time at The Wizard of Oz. Performers were excellent. Overall theater was comfortable and fun. I wish the performances had been on a weekend or started earlier. The little kids who were there were clearly exhausted.
I took my two grandaughters ages 3 and 5. They watched in rapt attention and were fascinated.
I attended the play with my 9 year old son. It was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every bit of it! He sang along to every song! Definitely worth going again!
The cast was outstanding, we loved the entire show! Hope it returns, we would love to see it again.
We enjoyed the show. We felt that the set design fell short--we had expected Broadway quality sets.
My daughter and husband and I absolutely love this show! We had front row seats which was very exciting. Itâs always been a favorite play of our families. The acting was absolutely perfect and the set was so cool. We stayed outside and met a few of the stars, including Toto! Very exciting show and day for us. Would have went back the next day if we lived closer. Highly recommended!
