Very fun evening, band was all together and sounded great!

by Geezer on 9/12/23The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

The Weight Band was a fun night out and the music was terrific. Started off a bit slow with some lesser known songs from the huge collection the Band has. A few covers were done very well and represented connections from the Band and the Dead and the Allman Brothers. Second set was much more recognizable and the crowd get into it much more. All in all a very fun night and the band played very well!

    Pleasantly surprised!

by Dr Bob on 9/11/23The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

Perfect venue for this professional group of musicians. I’m 72 years old and guitarist who played and recorded back in the 60’s. The Band was always a pleasure to listen to then and now. The Weight band consisted of guys who played not only The Bands tunes, but also original songs and some Grateful Dead tunes as good as and even better than the originals! For me, this night was very special to listen to truly amazing musicianship from each member!

    Great musicians.

by Jay on 4/19/23Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Played for 1:45 min. No breaks. Very talented professional musicians that were tight. Vocals split between the 5. Sounded great. Only suggestion is to add Cripple Creek and The Night…Dixie to the play list. After all they are offshoot of The Band. Also. A little more history would be nice. Just a few words about where they came from was all thet was said.

The Night they drove Ol Dixie Down

by Lucky on 3/3/23Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Great Concert! Only disappointment the Band didn’t play their number 1 hit!! The Night they drove Ol Dixie Down. Wonder why? Hope they didn’t cave to appease some woke ideology.. It would be like Led Zeppelin not playing Stairway to Heaven. To bad..

by GT on 2/28/23Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

The Weight Bands performance is very very enjoyable and pure fun to watch!! One of the greatest concerts that I have seen in the last 30 years! The level of musicianship is superb, and the overall entertainment value is great! The togetherness of the band is so tight, it is a joy to watch these guys up there having so much fun presenting their music!!

    Great job

by Roadrunner on 2/28/23Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

To be honest with y’all when they first walked onto the stage they looked bored! By the third song they were into it. Great sounds and excellent musicians. Enjoyed the show and would go see them again.

    Great band!

by GGSTOYS on 2/28/23Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Have followed them for a few years after one of their band members joined that we know personally from another band. The music is great but the instruments overpowers the vocals.

    Take me Back

by Bob Mac on 5/2/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

We enjoyed the show very much, the music was great, the stories of the individual musician's involvement with "The Band" added to our enjoyment. As a musically untalented person who loves live music the show was great. We never had the opportunity to se the original live. This show was the next best thing.

    Yes & No

by El on 5/2/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

Contrary to what I expected, I actually preferred The Weight’s original music. Despite being excellent musicians, a few of which played with Levon Helm for many years, when they did Band song covers, it felt like there was a neon sign onstage flashing “We Are Not The Band”— and I was unmoved.

    The Weight Band was Spectacular!

by Anna M on 12/9/21The Paramount - Huntington

The Paramount was delightful. The venue was spacious and the check in was polite and swift. The venue was spotless. All the staff were polite and friendly. The spacious bars were a delight. So much room to mingle and talk. Lovely girl at the gift counter, I purchased a tee shirt and CD, and she was delightful. The Christmas Tree was huge and we took photos. The Weight Band was Phenomenal ! I have seen them several times, and they were just Fantastic ! The overhead cameras which focused on Brian and Matt playing the keyboard were mesmerizing. I really enjoyed that new element of the cameras, and I was amazed at their talent. Jimmy, Albert and Michael shined like Stars. Great Event !
