The Way She Spoke was a great work. Kate Del Castillo conveys the sense of loss and desperation that the families feel when their daughters, sisters and mothers just disappear. Her interpretation of the father who suffers for his daughter's disappearance was moving.Overall a magnificent performance and play! I recommend it. I would have appreciated a chance for a meet and greet as I am a fan of Kate Del Castillo's work.

After seeing Kate Del Castillo perform solo on 'The Way She Spoke', made me respect her even more as an actress. She did an incredible job in portraying the lives of these women from Juarez making you feel their presence through the lines of the script being read. It takes true talent to make a play like this come to life and be felt so deeply. A must see for those who follow Kate Del Castillo's career and also for those who care about women rights and human rights overall. A heart felt piece of work.

This disturbing play brings to nyc the mostly unknown issue of violence against and indiscriminate murder of women in Mexico. A play within a play, it focuses on interviews with Mexicans who know of missing women murdered by men, police, government, condoned murder of the most vulnerable. Perhaps, through this medium, playwright Gomez hopes enough light will be shed to stop the crimes, honor the victims, and bring some to justice.

Kate del Castillo is outstanding in the role of both the Actress and teller of the tale and the writer, Isaac Gomez has done an explicitly exquisite job of recounting the realities endured by anyone living with it in the border town.

I went not knowing what to expect but the actress was mesmerizing . She blew me away , I laughed, cried whirlwind of emotions. She gave the victims a voice and portrayed every character flawlesly
