The Wailers put on an awesome show. They were definitely fun to watch.
Words can't describe what I was feeling that night, seeing the Wailers 30
Very good show, I enjoyed my self. My wife and I had a lot of fun.
Perhaps we had higher expectations from the band's previous experience with the Marley family and we were somewhat disappointed with a show that felt very routine, almost generic. In addition, patrons should be warned that there would be two opening acts which will consume at least two hours of the concert experience. The venue, Hard Rock Live Orlando, was nice and the staff was very accommodating.
It was a great time for all, the band was on and we wouldreccomend the band
The show was great...staff was nice as usual.drinks a bit overpriced
Don't miss it. Great concert. Great line up with two frontmen
When the lead singer performed Redemption Song, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. You closed your eyes, and Bob was on stage.
Nice sounds and a nice show. Standing room only, and with good reason. People were definitely in a mood to have a good time, and I think this event was a good way to cap off a great night in Manhattan.
It was GREAT to see the Wailers again, and the venue has great potential for intimacy and comfort. The seats were back from the band, so great dancing was accommodated. It was also great to be able to go out for a walk and come back in, no hassles. i wish the people would have shared some of there stuff!!!!
The venue, the crowd, the WAILERS..what else is there to say. A 10 all the way.
What a memorable night... Lee scratch perry was classic. He's a reggae legend and so rootsy. The wailers were amazing, you could close your eyes and hear marley coming out from them. They play hit after hit. I wish for them to come back soon.
The best show I've seen this year. Love the Wailers & Lee Scratch Perry.
The Wailers were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend this show to someone else and the Uptown is an amazing venue.
I have seen the Wailers dozens of times over the years, but this was the best performance to date. LOVE the new lead singer, but they never introduced him by name! He's a HOTTIE!!!!!!!!!\ They did the generic setlist, would have been nice to do some more obscure Bob, but I know the fans expect the regulars.
Great venue. Much to loud (actually distorted the sound). Will not return unless the volume is turned down. Am a professional musician and would be embarrassed to have played so loud as to affect the overall quality of the music. As for the Whalers themselves, did not feel at all connected to their presence. They seemed burned out and bored.
It was GREAT to see the Wailers again, and the venue has great potential for intimacy and comfort. The seats were back from the band, so great dancing was accommodated. It was also great to be able to go out for a walk and come back in, no hassles! However, I don't know if I will return to this venue (Ponte Vedra) until I've heard that they are controlling the volume. Painfully loud, right from the first song of the warm up band. Still have a physical popping in one ear that won't go away two days later. Isn't over the top, break Pete Townsend's eardrums passé and just plain stupid? It's easy to be too loud. The challenge is to be heard without hurting!
Amazing show with laid-back venue but I was surprised it didn't sell out. Opening act was horrible but The Wailers were incredible with positive and upbeat attitude. Absolutely loved it and danced the entire time they were on stage. They played everything you'd want to hear with the most easy-going mellow beat and left us wanting more.
The Wailers were great! The venue was great too..........small with nice acoustics and a good view of the stage from anywhere in the Hall, lots of space to dance, comfortable seating, ease of re-entry in and out of the Hall with a wrist band, friendly volunteers........My only complaint is that the sound was VERY LOUD, and it didn't need to be because the sound was very good and the space was not large. I felt that the sound quality was degraded by the volume......and I like loud music. I had to make myself a pair of earplugs out of a napkin and I ended up leaving early because my ears were ringing so badly by the end of the evening. I suggest that the venue managers encourage quality over quantity of sound for future events.
