The Virginmarys Tickets

I had heard the VIRGINMARYS for the first time the week their second album KING OF CONFLICT dropped in Feb of 2013. I loved the album and went to You Tube to check out their vids. The video for LOOKING FOR LOVE ( live version) was amazing. The song was off their debut self titled album from 2012. It was obvious that this fledgling band had a natural ability for the stage and now I was convinced this band was destined for greatness.I was now on a quest to see them live. The only opportunity to see them was at the Krockothon in Syracuse NY which was a 5hr drive from Jersey and involved 11 other bands. The VIRGINMARYS were the second band to play that day. ALLY DICKATY fronts the band with guitar and fierce vocals- DANNY DOLAN is the drummer extraordinaire - and MATT ROSE on bass. Together they put on an amazing show and I considered it a privilege to see these future superstars play the rookie slot at the festival. My only criticism- they didn't play my favorite song the aforementioned LOOKING FOR LOVE. My message to the guys- regardless of how short your set is- never cut LOOKING FOR LOVE- it's one of your best songs. MUCH LOVE!

I had the best time ever!!! Not to crowded and friendly people. Got to talk to the bands and take pictures afterwards. I highly recommend these groups.

Great show in a great little venue. Can't wait to see this band again!!! They are quickly becoming one of my favs.

The Virginmarys put on a fantastic live show. I really like this venue. It has great parking and the rooms are small enough to be intimate but big enough to get some well known bands.

This band... Rocked!!!! I took my younger cousin, younger sister and friend and they all had a great time!!! I know that I definite did!!! The only part I didn't like was the amount of opening bands. They would take a long time to get set up and it was just a bit too much. My least favorite was the American Fangs. They are on tour with the Virginmarys and they do get you hyped, but I wasn't a big fan of the lead singer... We Are forever is an Indy band and they were alright. My favorite opener was The Last Good Year. Those guys knew how to rock out. The whole band came together perfectly and played music that I know I want to listen to! Now for the Vs!! I wish if wouldn't have ended!!! I would consider myself a pretty big fan of the Virginmarys, but I know they aren't very big in Indy, at least not yet! Although most of the people there didn't know who they were, they were able to rock out!!! They played my favorites, Bang, Dressed to Kill and Just a Ride and of course I sang along! After the concert they came out to greet the fans that stayed to meet them. All the band members signed my phone case, my cousins shoe and my sisters ticket and took individual pictures with each one of us. Matt I thought was adorable and seemed to be very humble as well as Aly who was also extremely nice and greeted us and hugged us as soon as we went up to him. It took us a while to get to Danny, but we go him too!!! If they come to a town near you, I recommend you go!!!! You may regret it in the near future!!!

The Old National Delux Room is great. All the bands (We Are Forever, The Last Good Year, American Fangs, and The Virginmarys) were fantastic. Being able to meet, chat, and hangout with the bands after there sets was awesome!
