About

The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

  • A truly special evening!

by Jaybrrd on 3/5/11Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

the boys landed in san diego after 30 hours of flying to hong kong and back . . . they were entitled to be a bit tired . . . but they were great! . . . Have an opportunity to see and hear them . . . do!

  • Canadian Tenors the BEST

by Darfan on 3/5/11Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The Canadian Tenor concert was by far the best I have ever seen. They had just flown in from Hong Kong and yet they put on show to die for. As a group they blended perfectly; as soloists each one was top notch. When Fraser sang "Bring Him Home", there was not a dry eye in the house; Remi on the guitar gave me chills; Victor (O Sole Mio) & Clifton (Forever Young) were also outstanding. Afterward they were gracious enough to spend at least an hour signing CDs and chatting with fans, even though they were exhausted. Not only would I recommend them to one and all, we bought tickets for their concert next week and are seeing them again. I'd follow them on the road if I could!

  • Canadian Tenors were on fire!

    by karinmac128 on 3/4/11Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The Canadian Tenors came to San Diego on 3/2/11. They were tired from flying to concerts in Hong Kong and back within the week. They sang from the heart and made you feel joy. The audience fed that joy and was enjoyed by all.

  • Canadian Tenors took me to another place

by hiyaluv on 3/4/11Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

To me what makes a concert even more memorbale is when you find personalities to match the voices and thats what these guys had! Each of them let their own personalities shine through, while also letting the audience know a little about them. You could see the love between them as they joked and laughed together. I was great to go to show where you were both entertained and fascinated.

  • Pittsburgh PA Concert

by Tenorized on 2/28/11Carnegie Library Music Hall - MunhallRating: 5 out of 5

Attended your concert in Pittsburgh PA and you guys were awesome! I loved the stories in between your songs where your personalities could really shine. It gave us an insight into who you are, and it was very touching and personal. Then when you moved out of your 'serious' selves, we got to see how you have such a fun time with each other on stage! Although I love listening to your CD's, being able to hear you perform live was truly wonderful! Not to mention that it gave me the opportunity to 'meet and greet' you after the show. You guys are beyond gifted and awesome and I absolutely loved you, your songs, your voices and your humor! Thank you for a wonderful evening and for making it one that I will never forget.

  • The Canadian Tenors are Outstanding!!

by EltonLeonFan on 2/14/11The Plaza Theatre - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

The performance was very entertaining! This group really enjoys pleasing the audience, and delivered a first class concert. However, the venue itself leaves a lot to be desired, and didn't come close to providing a quality experience that performer's of this high caliber deserve.

by cantenorfan on 2/14/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing concert! There were no extra frills, just fantastic singing by four guys. They have such a great sound quality that made you wish the night would never end! I also loved that they seemed so genuine. They were great to watch and I loved all their little anecdotes as well.

  • Canadian Tenors

by Veritable on 12/27/10Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing. Almost three hours with a 25 minute break. Kenny G joined the boys on stage during the first act and he held the longest clear single note EVER! Their version of Hallelujah was a highlight. I would definitely go again and take my mother too.

  • A perfect christmas event

    by bigblue22 on 12/21/10Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This was a perfect Christmas event. The mix of their regular songs and christmas carols were a great combination to make this a grand evening. This is the first time we have seen the Tenors in concert and will not be our last. Individually their voices are amazing, together they are sublime.

  • A Memorable Performance

by dachshundlover on 12/11/10The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

After buying and listening to one of their CD's, I was eagerly awaiting this performance. Their performance at the Midland coincided with the celebration of my 60th birthday. This had to have been one of the most enjoyable evenings that I have ever spent, as well as one of my all time favorite concerts to be in attendance of. These fellas are destined for even greater stardom. I'm just glad I got to see them before their concerts will be sold out months in advance. It was truly a great experience. It would only have been better had I been able to meet them personally!!

  • AMAZING

by lightning1 on 12/7/10Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We were so excited about seeing the Canadian Tenors for the first time and they more than surpassed our expectations. Their voices and harmony were excellent and they are all so humble and thankful for where they are. It was an awesome show and we will be going back to see them again.

  • Bring the Tenors back!

by TigerLily99 on 12/6/10The Midland by AMC - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first opportunity to see the Tenors live. I have their first CD and purchased their DVD following the show. I love their songs and was very (happily) surprised at the solos they sang and additional music they added to their show. They are talented and gave 100% in their performance. I look forward to their fan base growing and hope they will be back in Kansas City!

  • Canadian Tenors are OUR GIFT!

by Afanforever on 12/6/10Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a wonderful show. The Canadian Tenors never disappoint!!! They are amazing and their voices send shivers through me. Love the intimate feel of their concerts. The guest perfomers were good, but, I would have preferred JUST the Canadian Tenors, of course!
