About

The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

  • Tenors great - Atlanta Symphony Hall terrible

by thebobbyd on 11/4/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

the Tenors did a great performance. the volume in the hall was unbearable at times. most of the people around me at various times were plugging their ears because it was so loud. ...and I am not an old guy either. I saw Def Leppard earlier this year and didn't have this complaint! do a sound check next time!

I love their devotion to their families. Their music shows what wonderful songwriters they are. Some brought tears to my eyes.

The Canadian Tenors are by far my favorite musical group. They put on an amazing show and are very personable and humble. Their individual talent is ridiculous, and together it's unbelievable. I will see them every time they come anywhere near my city!

  • Tenors Atlanta Symphony Hall

    by RPOLJ2 on 11/4/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts we have ever attended. Four amazing voices from very grounded, family and God loving men. They performed for close to 2 1/2 hours - featuring a lot of solos to rest the other voices and the song choices were just so good - realy mixed it up from pop to classical and operatic selections. May travel to see them perform on this tour again. It is that good.

  • The Tenors were UNFORGETTABLE!!!

    by Catherine333 on 11/4/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have watched The Tenors on PBS several times. The live performance at Atlanta Symphony Hall EXCEEDED my expectations. Almost 3 hours of pure joy and entertainment! I felt awful that The Tenors had a 75 city tour and had to spend so much time away from their families and I want to thank their families for sharing them with us! This is a memory that will stay with me forever!

These guys were great performers who loved the crowd and involved us. They appear humble and approachable which is always endearing. They of course sing majestically and the ladies are quite enamored with them. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show from these amazingly talented musicians.

  • A Wonderful Night

    by Ruth1947 on 10/21/15Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was by far the best I have ever seen. These men are good Christian family men and they are just wonderful. When two of them stopped by my seat, got down on their knees and one took my hand and sang me a love song.....I broke down in tears....my boyfriend of 12 years had just broken up with me and the Tenors made me feel special. I cannot say enough kind words about them.

We truly enjoyed The Tenors, they all have a story to tell, they have wonderful singing voices, their music repertoire was for their powerful singing voices. It was very entertaining for all of us that had the privilege of been at the theater and there were teens, young and old adults. We had a great time indeed!!!

I had no expectations just thought it might be a fun night out and I love live music. The groups talent and performance exceeded any of my expectations. It was extremely enjoyable and I would see them again in a heartbeat. Each performer is very engaging and genuine. It was just sad that it was not sold out.
