The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

I saw the Tenors at the Westbury Theatre. This is the second time I've seen their concert at this Theatre. My husband and I love them so much!! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!! I can't say enough about each one of their voices. They sing like angels from God up above!! I would see them again and again. Every song they sing is out of this world...Their voices are so very beautiful together and individually. God Bless You, Remi, Victor, Frasier & Cliff. I am a forever fan....Love you all and thank you for sharing your gift of voice with us. Grace Pro

This was one of the finest evenings of entertainment that I have experienced in years. The performance by The Tenors was magnificent. Beautiful singing, wonderful music which was warmly presented. It is truly wonderful to experience an evening of entertainment which was pleasant to the ear. We usually need earplugs at concerts these days. The show was pure joy. The overall presentation was wonderful. Also this was our first visit to NJPAC which is a truly beautiful venue. We hope to see The Tenors again at NJPAC

  • God was at The Tenors Concert!!!

by Tenorsgirl on 11/10/15New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

I have been loving these 4 amazing men since the first note I heard in 2012 on their PBS Special Lead With Your Heart! I have desired to see them live since then, and finally, FINALLY, I did last Sat at NJPAC! My husband, and 2 of our dear friends (who never heard them sing) came also, and they were totally impressed! I was not the only one moved to tears several times as their music and persona invited God into that beautiful Prudential Hall to join all of us because it was truly inspirational! I didn't want it to end, and I will do everything I can to see them the next time they are there, and bring a bunch of people with me! They make us feel like friends, real friends, and their humility keeps them grounded which I love. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

I was taught in school by the nuns that singing gives praise to God, well this opened up the gates of heaven. It was awesome.

The canadian tenors in atlantic city on Nov 6th. were awesome. Their friendship and appreciation for each other is so obvious! Besides amazing talent, they have soul. Sing to their moms, dads, wives and kids They interact with the audience easily. Like they are all having a good time. Remi was sick - you could tell as soon as he came on stage, but he worked thru it. They sond great, and seem to be such wonderful people. Tx!! great time.

This is the third show I've attended & as always the boys never disappoint. I'm an avid devoted fan-- always will be. Their voices & personal chemistry together is mesmerizing & genuine & so heartfelt. However, in my opinion, they need to be managed more professionally. I'm a producer & in the business. Having that song writer as a 'Warm Up" for the show was just uncalled for and in poor taste. He may be able to write songs but he can't sing. Furthermore , the boys don't need this. Anyway , bravo to the boys - can't wait to see them again.

  • by Florizel on 11/10/15New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing!! The rendition of How Great Thou Art was by far the greatest I have ever heard. Totally enjoyed the entire concert and would go to see them again and maybe again. Every song either group or as singles was phenomenal!! BRAVO!!!

Worse concert I've ever been to. WAY TO LOUD! I had listened to them on a video and they were great...singing by themselves without their horrible band! The types of songs in their program for this concert was not suited for tenors and resulted in a very poor concert.!
