British Rock band, The Struts--named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence-- have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The band, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, was formed in Derby England in 2012. Bursting onto the scene with "Could Have Been Me", they have since released three albums (including collaborations with heavy hitters like Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Phil Collen), earned the No. 1 spot on the Spotify Viral Top 50, appeared on shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garnered more than 850M on-demand streams and sold out shows across the globe. Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and Guns N' Roses, played major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball as well as headlined their own world-wide tours. Now signed to Big Machine Label Group, the mesmerizing rockers have released their new anthem-rocker single, "Fallin' With Me."
We loved the concert! So energetic and fun! Loved the audience participation. Great band - super entertaining.
This band blew me away - had all there records but never had seen them live, if this were a different era and time they would be one of the biggest bands in the world!! GREAT SHOW
The Struts put on an incredible concert! My best friend and I were straight up sucked in the whole time. It was fun, loud, and the music translates so well in their live performance. I cannot wait to see them again.
Great was great , live the music, innteraction with crowd was awesome. Will go again when they come back . I am sure it will be at a bigger venue. Opening band good to.
From an older Rock fan that has seen everything from the 70's forward, The Struts are such a refreshing injection into Rock music! Their energy at the shows is equal to anyone. The musicianship is top-notch. I only wish I could see them more often!!
Everyone needs to see The Struts at least once. Always a fantastic show. Not a fan of casino venues but I would go see them if they played in a cardboard box.
Great show. Luke Spiller is simply a genuine and likable guy. You could feel they were truly invested in putting on a great show for their fans. They were high energy, sounded great, and were a lot of fun with their interaction with the crowd. If you get the chance to see them, do it!
Every time seeing these guys is fab! No better live show. Monster talent
Mac Saturn was the second band and killed it, then the struts came on and brought the energy to the max. Gonna watch Mac Saturn in Feb when they come back and I'll for sure check for Struts when they return!
The band always puts on the best possible performance that every band should aspire to be like live. Never a dull moment, always tact sharp, and style for days. The Struts SHOULD be in arenas & stadiums but I’m happy their not. We still get em (for the most part, all things considered…) to ourselves
Where have the Struts been hiding? The energy was electric.
We simply cannot understand why the Struts aren't huge. The band is amazingly entertaining, crowd participation is through the roof and Luke's vocals are some of the best in the biz... buy some tickets, get to a show and spread the word!!!
The Struts are great. So much fun. I will go so them any time they are in town.. If you haven't seen them and you like just good old Rock and Roll make a point to see them.
Last concert of the year ended with a bang! Banger after banger with some breaks to go to the bathroom. Their energy is too much for HOB SD, so lucky to be able to see this band in a small venue.
This night was exceptional over crowded. I have been here many times and it was disappointing. The upstairs was closed off which made for miserable for the floor.
SO MUCH FUN! It was energetic, sexy and awesome! Our whole group had a blast! The venue (Ace of Spades) was not great…but the band was incredible!
Easily one of the best concerts I've been to. Their stage presence is unparalleled -- definitely one of the most engaged audiences I've seen (especially for a band that isn't selling out stadiums yet) -- coupled with an innate fire on stage that keeps you engaged at every millisecond. And they're so nice off-stage too! Wonderful first meet-and-greet. I haven't shut up about the show since I left -- I can't wait until next time!
The Struts are a true Rock-n-Roll band. A perfect blend of UK/US. The energy is off the charts from start to finish, and they never let crowd slow down.
The Struts themselves sounded amazing and put on a stellar show. the venue was way OVER sold , way beyond capacity and made the concert very unpleasant and difficult to enjoy. This should have been a 2 night concert
The Fillmore SF (West) is an iconic San Francisco venue that always lives up to its billing...well run, tons of history in the place and on the walls. And to see The Struts there, one of the best live bands touring today, was A+ all around...even opening bands were solid, especially Mac Saturn.
