THE STROKES IN CONCERT:
American rockers the Strokes have been wowing audiences with their infectious hooks and post-punk influenced sound ever since breaking out in 2001 with Is This It. At the group's acclaimed live shows frontman Julian Casablancas showcases his distinct vocals on favorites like "Reptilia" and "Last Nite" while his bandmates keep pace with edgy guitar riffs, thumping basslines, and pounding drum patterns. With a decade-spanning collection of popular anthems at the ready, the Strokes always have fans singing along to their energetic sets on their can't-miss tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"When The Strokes came out, everything was just so perfect. Julian Casablancas is literally the best frontman ever. He went into the audience twice! Also, Fab, Nick, Nikolai, and Albert are so talented."
"It was really good. They sound just like they do on the albums, and often times songs sound even better. Even "You're So Right" sounded great. They weren't stiff or boring, they were far from it."
"This show was absolutely amazing! One of the best -- if not the best -- concerts I've ever seen. The Strokes were fantastic! "

The forum is always a very welcoming venue, when it comes to fan comfort. As soon as you enter the terrace, there photo ops in most of the pillars, and it’s thoroughly enjoyed by the fans. The show itself was also really good. The band was amazing, did Beyond what I could dream about. My only complaint, would be that the bass wasn’t loud enough. Some of their songs have an amazing bass and I wasn’t able to hear it as much as I’d like. Besides that everything else was wonderful, I’d relive this night 100 times and more if I could.
The tickets were $143ea. Waited year and a half and we got 2 mediocre openers and though the Strokes were great, they only performed for 1.5hrs, I feel that it did not justify the price and the long wait, should have gotten a better opening act and the Strokes should have performed a bit longer
The show was amazing but the only thing I'd say really needs improvement is the General Admission process. None of the staff knew what the GA procedures were, or the staff was providing misinformation. It was very confusing and lots of attendees were getting upset. When we were finally brought inside the building, everyone in the GA line ran out of line as fast as they could to the front which obviously upset those that got cut in front of in line. There was no point in the numbered wristbands if people were able to cut in line once inside. Other than that, the show was great. There were amazing staff members at the Casamigos and beer stands. Very nice and helpful!
Every song they played was just awesome. To see these guys live which is rare experience was rad. I can say I have seen the strokes and not many people can say that. This is my second time seeing them and it won’t be my last!
My only complaint is that the “sound check” and time between the 2nd band and The Strokes was about a 45 minute and not taking stage till 10:20pm I thought was a little ridiculous.
Thank you @thestrokes for an insanely amazing show! It was my dream for over 15 years to see them live and it finally came true and I was with my boo on top of that. After seeing @thevoidz, @alberthmondjr, @crxmusic, this was like seeing the avengers assemble. Beyond perfect in every way. My breath is still taken away
It was fun. However, for a concert that "started at 7:30", coming out at 10:10 seemed quite late. Then they ended at around 11:15, came back and played three more songs, and that was it.
Great show. Great music. They came on stage at 10 pm which means they only played 1 1/2 hours . Other than that awesome show!
The Strokes are incredible and live they were on point! Wished the sound quality had been better, we had a hard time hear Julian’s fabulous vocals. Food and drink choices were appropriate, seats were good and venue was clean and organized.
Sounded awful, acted like the pricks they were 20 years ago when they actually were good enough to pull it off, came on 2 hours late. This is it for sure. This band is done.
Still enjoyed myself, but the setlist wasn’t that exciting. The mixing was muddy during certain songs, and Julian didn’t seem to be giving it his all, unfortunately.
Ticket was 7:30 the show starts (openers) then wait 45 min for second act(was great) ended arround 9:05, then we leave waiting standing for an our the time the strokes showed up they rocked but the damage was made already... overall amazing SHORT show. (The play 87 minutes)
Audio was at damaging levels!! Treble was ear piercing and made the experience unenjoyable! Been to 1000s of concerts and this one will be remembered in a negative way unfortunately.. I Would like money back from that show…
Great to finally get to see the band after waiting almost two years from the original your date! As always the boys rocked the house. Only knock they didn’t go on to 20:15 and only played and hour and fifteen minutes. The Forum needs to get real with their parking prices $45 is a rip off.
I loved it! Best concert the strokes did not disappoint! Julian Casablancas sounded amazing!
The title says it all!!! I named my son after casablanca
The person below is complaining about the show but…it’s the freaking Strokes!!! Their show honestly rocked and I’ve been a fan for 20 years. The attention to detail was awesome and it was so aesthetically pleasing! The venue has been around for a minute…the acoustics were a little off but it wasn’t bad. It took two years to get to last night and it was worth it! Btw, the tickets and the posters definitely said who the opening acts were! Not only that they also included set times for those two.

This venue isn't it. I slipped down the stairs twice because the stairs were wet and slippery and nobody bothered to clean it up. This venue needs a major upgrade. The seats are old and dirty, it was so dark in there I couldn't see a thing. The acoustics were mediocre, they only had one screen we couldn't see the band, multiple screens would've been nice to get a better view of the band. I paid 70 at a bar for 2 drinks and then another bar was 40 which I dont understand. The parking is terrible and packed and overpriced I just parked on the street. I didn't even know who the opening act even was because it didn't even state on the ticket I got there at 7:30 they didn't start playing til like 10. I originally bought this ticket for a weekend but it got changed to a Wednesday which was already inconvenient as it is. I think this venue just needs an upgrade its so old and outdated and cramped.
