…………………………………… best show of my whole life, thom and jonny did so so amazing. bending hectic is a banger
Nothing bad to say about their performance or the venue. Both were lovely. Get your tickets now while they are on tour, you’ll regret it otherwise!
Absolutely amazing, couldn’t have been better. Worth every penny.
In a time when a lot of music across all genres sounds the same, The Smile offers original, complex, and stunning music that is a marvel to hear and watch.
Amazing show - these guys blow me away with their songwriting and versatility. They are master musicians.
Thom & Johnny demonstrate that they are some of the best musicians of our time
The smile were awesome. The venue is always great. It’s just a shame I’m forced to purchase my tickets with the rip-off merchants ticketmaster
For only being a three piece ensemble, it was unbelievable how electric the music and the vibe was
This is going to be one of those shows I remember for the rest of my life. Watching Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood fully do their thing together from just a few feet away was truly incredible. At one point Jonny was playing a piano with his left hand and harp with his right. Just 🤯🤯🤯
I saw them back in December. Perfect concert. Perfection. Enough said!
Incredible! So unique and amazing the sound was perfect and the band was on fire!
The performance was great, but the venue had somewhat poor acoustics and the layout/stage height made it impossible to see for anyone not either really tall or right at the front. The venu felt more set up for a car show or convention than a rock concert and that definitely detracted from the experience. I probably wouldn’t choose to go to another show there.
The music was amazing. It also sounded great live. The venue however was not so great due to there being no parking in SF
The show was AMAZING. The venue is my least favorite in the city. Long beverage lines, not enough people working in the lounge. It could be so much easier. Sound/tone could have been better for such an epic sounding band.
Easy entry, great atmosphere, and show was incredible. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Process of obtaining a drink arm band (or whatever it was) needs revising. Stood in line for drinks for a while, were told we needed an wrist band, had to get out of line. We were not told about this upon entry. This needs to be fixed. Bill Graham would not let this happen.
What a fun old school SF auditorium! Robert Stillman opened for the band, he was a revelation with his highly evocative and immersive sets of soundscapes, appropriately setting the tone for the rest of the evening comprising full, layered sounds from The Smile's first album. Greenwood is a freak as usual, with his virtuosic musical mastery, paired with Thom Yorke's iconic vocals and extremely down to earth, understated frontmanship while Tom Skinner kept the crowds vibrating with his punchy yet restrained drumming. Overall, I left with a renewed love for the band, and cannot wait for their next album!
The venue is solid, not too big and not a bad seat/floor spot in the house! The Smile was amazing!
It was an amazing show. They played a bunch of new songs too. Do I really need to say much with the history these guys have. Go see this band if you can. You won’t be disappointed.
The Smile is incredible and worth seeing love. The venue is the worst SF has to offer.
