Singer was good n jokes entertaining…. The orchestra spectacular
He was spot-on....looked and played the part. He sang all the well-known great songs and his voice and delivery were great. Would see him again!
We had a fabulous time, great entertain er. Loved the music.
We truly enjoyed Dave Halston, his band and female singer that accompanied him (sorry, I don’t remember her name). It was an awesome night out and great Christmas gift from our kids!
Great Venue to see a performance; Good parking; Nice Snacks selection ; Clean restrooms ;Talented performers
This lovely theater remains a gem in Aventura. This show in particular was great, marvelous throwback to better days when singing was an art form. Dave was pleasant and his jokes were really funny. We enjoyed a very lovely evening and look forward to our next show.
Very classy and realistic Sinatra tribute. Even the jokes between songs were so “Frank”. Vegas style. We love it.
The singer is a showman! The band was very good! We had a good time remembering Sinatra’s songs!
Simply Fabulous! Dave gave an outstanding performance. The songs, interaction with the audience, he gave credit to the musicians - it was all well done. He emulates Sinatra perfectly and has a wonderful voice. I highly recommend seeing his show. You will leave feeling good and smiling!
Nice placê Excelent sound The playlist could be based on his best internacional sonhs
I am a Sinatra fan and I would see this show again and again.
I would recomend his show to all who love the Sinatrua's music. My slight negative review should have no impact on a very good show.He should have closed with the song Young At Heart being that 90% of the audience were seniors.
Dave Halston (& band) did an incredible concert, paying homage to Sinatra. This included a large amount of hits and more. Good stage presence and humor added to the success of the show.
Any Sinatra fan would enjoy the show as all the hits are performed in a very authentic way.
Dave Halston's performance was very, very good. Not exact, but well worth the money. He had the Sinatra sound down cold on three or four songs, and was close on most of the others. He definitely missed Frank's distinctive phrasing and Jersey accent on most of them, but his overall style and mannerisms were very good. A nice, nostalgic afternoon.
I was very disappointed that his band consisted of only three musicians - a drummer, a base and a piano player- even though Sinatra's songs use horns extensively. Much of the music heard was recorded, including background singers. That disappointment combined with the fact that Dave Halston cannot hold a note. The only highlight was Mr. Halton's ability to engage the audience with jokes. The end result was an expensive disappointment.
I found the entry/ticketing to be awful. A lot of people were having problems with display and access. I would prefer that you you would have the option of printing your tickets and presenting them for entry as well. That being said the show was great and would like to see more of these type of entertainment offered.
Wonderful evening of entertainment! Dave’s voice is amazingly Frank!
I had first row seats for this show and I was extremely disappointed. Dave missed many notes and on many songs was having trouble keeping his voice from cracking. The arrangements were decent, the jokes in between songs were funny, but the talent was lacking. I expected more and got less. The venue was about one third full. He missed an important song called Chicago and that surprised me. The 2 stars were for the arrangement and the band around him. All the horn sections were dubbed in and not live. The drummer was the best drumming like the old school drummers. My daughter who was with me , described it as a show that you could probably see at a Marriott.
Bought these tickets for as anniversary gift for my 85 year old parents. We didn’t feel the singers voice was close to Sinatra. In between songs his “jokes” were about drinking and bedroom antics. Some laughs but overall just fell a little short. The music was too loud for the smaller auditorium.
