About

The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential and longest-lasting bands to cross over during the ’60s British Invasion. The group stands as one of the best-selling acts of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide, and is responsible for two of the highest-grossing tours of all time within the last two decades. Blending blues and rock, the first main lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts broke out in 1965 with their first chart-topping album Out of Our Heads and back-to-back Hot 100 No. 1 singles “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud.” The group topped the Hot 100 again with 1966’s “Paint It, Black,” 1967’s “Ruby Tuesday” and 1969’s “Honky Tonk Women.” With the addition of guitarist Mick Taylor, The Rolling Stones released their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 1971’s Sticky Fingers, kicking off a streak of eight consecutive chart-topping debuts through 1981’s Tattoo You. Ronnie Wood made his debut as Taylor’s full-time replacement with 1978’s Some Girls, which hosted the group’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Miss You.” The Rolling Stones were the recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. They collected their first of three career Grammy Awards in 1995. The group broke the record for highest-grossing tour in 1990 and reclaimed the top spot in 1995 and 2007, becoming the only band to headline the highest-grossing tour of the decade twice. The No Filter World Tour from 2017 to 2021 closed as the fifth highest-earning tour ever. Most recently, the band released their first album of original material in 18 years, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

THE WORLD'S GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND...

    by r. o. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

is better than they have ever been. They had a party in Foxborough, and invited 60,000+ of their friends to witness their joy at doing what they do best. It was a fantasic show, they interacted with the audience, they played and played the tunes that make us stand up and dance, it was the BEST. See them no matter what it takes or costs. This tour is very very special and everyone there could see and feel the Stones knew it as well. There aren't enough stars to rate this one!

by Robi on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The performance was amazing as usual! The sound however was not good at all! A lot of echoes and, many times, we could not understand what they were saying!

    by J. H. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The show was great! Gary Clark Jr. was great too! Parking and traffic were horrible but that is the norm for Gillette.

    Unbelievable!

by Bill on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Rolling Stones is my favorite all-time rock band. This was my first time seeing them in concert and they were phenomenal performers. They played all of the classics and had the crowd on their feet non-stop. I was blown away by the quality of their showmanship at their age. Mick Jagger showed no sign of health issues after heart valve replacement surgery. He was so energetic. I highly recommend that you see them.

    Awesome show!

    by L. L. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

I have been a Stones fan for most of my life. I have seen them many times (I believe this was my 13th time). They can still rock it and Mick still has his moves........sadly "this could be the last time, maybe the last time I don't know".

    Rolling 'F'n Stones!!!!!

    by R. F. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Stones had a great show!! From beginning to the end, they were into the show with enthusiasm. They were having fun, and so were we. While Jagger doesn't dance like he used to, he still made full use of a large stage, prancing and shaking, as though it's not possible for him to stand still --and his voice was as good as ever!! The weather was beautiful, with a setting crescent moon in the sky. The venue was comfortable with plenty of food, drink, and bathroom accommodations. Overall, this was a high energy night of music. Everyone was on their feet throughout most of the show, movin' and groovin' to the World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band! On a personal note, the night was special because, while my wife and I had both seen the Stones before, this was the first time we saw them together!! An excellent evening.

    Stones

by Elinor on 7/10/19FedExField - Landover

Wow...what a show. The entire audience was on their feet the whole time. Mick Jagger was incredible and never missed a beat. We enjoyed the venue at FedEx Field in Maryland. Great time, indeed.

Hats off to the Rolling Stones!

by Lucy on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

This was truly the best concert I have ever seen in my lifetime and I have been to many concerts. Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful evening at Gillette Stadium and Gary Clark, Jr.'s performance was outstanding. It was an evening that I'll never forget. The Stones were energetic and they looked happy to be performing. They still have it after all of these years. May they keep on rocking and I hope to be able to see them again. It was a 5-Star Plus Concert!

    AWESOME!

by LouDee on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Purchased a “Gimmee Shelter” package but items were not as listed nor did they arrive before the show. However, seats were awesome and can’t say enough about the show. Went to their first concert in the US in Lynn MA Manning Bowl in 1966. It rained and the police threw tear gas. That was my first experience. This was a great experience. Hopefully not my last experience!

    Tremendous Show, As Usual!!!!

    by K. L. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

Gary Clark Jr. slayed as an opening act and then again when he jammed with Keith and Ronnie - Mick on harmonica!!!! The band was tight! I do miss Lisa and Cheryl. New backup singer is okay, but doesn't compare to Lisa or Cheryl. The Stones never disappoint!!!!!!

Definitely one to add to your list this year

    by J. B. on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Rolling Stones are one of the best bands of all time and they did not disappoint in Foxborough. Mick did awesome considering he just had heart surgery a few months ago. He had total control of the band and the crowd. He is a true entertainer. The band played straight through for a couple hours... There were songs I would of liked to hear but the concert would have to be 4 hours. The stage, the lights, the sound were perfect for a large stadium. They don't play like they did 20 years ago but they are still awesome !!!!!!!!! Do not miss out

    Great show! Fabulous Production!

by Hank on 7/10/19Gillette Stadium - Foxborough

The Stones truly showed that they are STILL the GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD. The overall production was fabulous. I was in the nose bleed seats, yet the sound system was great and the video enhanced the show. The Ticketmaster experience was less than desired, however. I was in the "wait" room for 45 minutes and then, when I was able to buy tickets, every time I clicked on what I wanted, they were gone. It was almost a miracle that I got any tickets at all.
