Horrible: Poor sound quality plagues Rocky Horror
by Anonymous on 11/6/13Macomb Music Theatre - Mt. ClemensThe actors were pretty good and were certainly trying. Unfortunately the production quality, especially the sound mixing and amplification equipment GREATLY over shadowed the work of the stage actors. Frank's mic was continually cutting out. He was even given a hand mic and that was spotty at best. Sound mixing was awful. When everything did work, the band drowned out the singers. Unfortunately the actor who played Riff Raff had a mike that worked too well, especially when he was screaming into the mic. Since I was the one who made the arrangements for my 12 friends to plunk down their $35 to see this show, I was very embarrased.
