The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight are a band of classical musicians from the United Kingdom who transform rock and metal songs into dark symphonies. The group of 14 musicians regularly performs concerts bathed in an ethereal candlelit glow as they turn songs by AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Linkin Park and more into swirling, dark rhapsodies that bridge the chasm between metal, hard rock and classical music. In 2024, The Rock Orchestra will embark on a tour of their native U.K. as well as Europe and the U.S. to present their thrilling new 90-minute show.

This was an excellent show. Definitely something we will attend again.
Will be buying better (closer) seat tix for next year’s show…is how fun it was. Only one thing I would change…make it louder! I loved the show, great talent! Great merging of two possibly three (choral sets were opera-like) genres of music and perfect as a pre-Halloween date night.
A great show with wonderful decor and lighting effects. Band was rocking, with a great choice of tunes. However, the sound was off - not loud enough overall, and particularly for the lead violin. I find the sound at our Saenger to be a constant issue…. Otherwise a really terrific show!
I was under the assumption that the concert was going to be in a very professional setting. I grew up going to symphonies and plays in theaters. Never once did I hear screaming and whistling, hooting and hollering, people standing in their rows during the show like it was a taylor swift concert. And I definitely didn't know it was going to be a sing along edition, being gently serenaded by a bunch of drunk middle age men and women, who were constantly talking during the show, filming when it clearly stated everywhere not to, and the non-stop complaining about the price of tickets. It was a celebration of mediocrity. Would only go back if I were going because a friend asked, I'd definitely know what seats I would need to buy to avoid the allowed rowdiness, and I wouldn't bother with wearing a suit again, considering half the people were in jeans, and came from a bar.
This was an outstanding show. The acoustics, the pageantry the play list. Can't wait for the Rock Orchestra to come back through Jax, will buy tickets again!
The performance blew me away. I never would have imagined how amazing System of a Down would sound via orchestral instruments. The rendition of Rammstein’s “Sonne” was beautiful.
Great music w/ amazing singers and awesome orchestra. This concert was fabulous! We loved it. 100% recommended.
I’m so glad I got to see this. It had very crowd pleasing song selection. The performances were energetic flawlessly performed. My family had a wonderful time.
Words cannot express the awe and thrill my wife and I felt attending this event! From Led Zepplin to Metallica to the Cranberries, the music, the musicians, and the vocalists entertained us, captured us, and lifted us up the entire evening! We were lucky to sit near a younger patron who could tell us the more recent song names and artists. Our only complaint was with the venue which did not supply ANY playbill or info on the program or the artists.
This was one of the best performances that I have seen in a long time. It was for all ages bringing back the music from when I was young. I would definitely go to see it again. I was also impressed with the venue.
I thought the show was good, but it was not great. I had seen "Two Cello's"before and had that same expectation. I was expecting more of a true Orchestra experience with a rock edge, it felt more like a rock concert with an Orchestra edge. I would not recommend purchasing the sip and savor or the parking pass. The food for the sip and savor ran out before everyone got there and the parking pass was 5 blocks away - there was parking right across the street from the venue. The parking could be my fault as I didn't read where the lot was located and assumed it was closer. Still a good night out, just didn't meet my expectations for the cost.
I love the concert, great music, absolutely beautiful voices. Only 2 things: -1/ no screens so it's a bit hard to see performers for anyone who not near the stage..and people on the back can't see it at all unless they use phones to make close up. And 2/no candlelight. Lol Absolutely wonderful , fantastic, beautiful show, I just wish I can see it better.
Had a great seat. The venue was very nice. The Orchestra played a lot of amazing rock songs they even made it sound like there was someone singing to them and then the singing was superb. I really couldn’t believe how wonderful some of the old rock classics are with an orchestra definitely go again.
So much fun! Great show, great music. My only negative was the people sitting by us, but that’s not the orchestra’s fault!!
Amazing I absolutely loved the rendition of all songs. The female singing Nothing Else Matters opera style was truly outstanding & I appreciate every single one of the musicians in the set. Thanks for a wonderful evening & I want to see this performance again soon!! 🤘
The only thing we would have had differently was to buy better seats! This concert was amazing! The singers, musicians and down to the set-up was out of this world. The choice of songs really went well. Everyone had such talent and so energized. We loved it.
If you get a chance to take in a performance from the Rock Orchestra, I say do it. Even my 18 year old daughter loved it. My wife said it was a great experience. Everyone was superb in their play! I personally love the blend of rock and orchestral music.
There was a major problem with the sound system where the speakers sounded like they'd been blasted out, static, reverb, you name it. Maybe too much bass but whatever, it sounded horrible and ruined the whole concert. We left at intermission
It was incredible - the live orchestra was so powerful, the vocalists were better than some of the original artists and every song was better than the last.
Had a great time out with my wife. Music was great . Musicians were fantastic. Atmosphere was electric. It was an awesome night out. Will go again next time they are in our area.
