The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight are a band of classical musicians from the United Kingdom who transform rock and metal songs into dark symphonies. The group of 14 musicians regularly performs concerts bathed in an ethereal candlelit glow as they turn songs by AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Linkin Park and more into swirling, dark rhapsodies that bridge the chasm between metal, hard rock and classical music. In 2024, The Rock Orchestra will embark on a tour of their native U.K. as well as Europe and the U.S. to present their thrilling new 90-minute show.

This had to be one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. Very enjoyable and entertaining.
A must see for any and all concert goers. An experience that will amaze you with its visual effects but most of all their musical version of some Classic Rock songs ! Will see again ! ! !
This was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I will absolutely attend another one if they come back. If they come to your town you must go see them. I just ordered their new CD.
I just wish it has lasted longer. I flipped through my pictures and videos a hundred or more times the next day. Please come back to Macon Ga soon. Thank you for a unforgettable performance...Bravo, Bravo!
First time seeing them. Only seen a few videos on YouTube but wanted to see what it was in real life. The choreography and singing were fantastic. Well worth the trip
This was my second time seeing this band. It was just as good as the first time, actually even better. There is so much talent in all of the members. Every section was awesome, they were pitch perfect in their instruments, from the brass section, violins, drummers to the singers. The costumes were spot on with the vibe. I don't do tribute bands, and they're certainly not a tribute, they're so unique in how they're able to songs made by others, and totally own the remixing with such flair. They make the music their own, and the outcome is a experience watching them on stage. I ordered their first album. If they come back to my town next year I'll buy another ticket.
Extremely talented musicians! It was a high energy performance. I enjoyed it so much!
Macon City Auditorium needs to get itself together because they did not help out this event. Bathrooms were disgusting with dried vomit still on walls from a previous event, which I find surprising that anyone could have gotten that drunk considering the disaster with the concession lines. Each line was intermingled with another line, creating a confusion and chaos that was unnecessary. Then, they put the seats so close together, that each guest was uncomfortably close to their neighbor. The event itself was ok, with a few highlights. The male lead vocal was outstanding and put on a performance that even some of the greats would have appreciated. The shorter female vocalist had this incredible opera vibe to her rock renditions that really made her stand out. A few of the instrument solos were outstanding. Overall, the show was a little lackluster, but was slightly saved by some of the shining superstars in it. The venue hall did not do its part to make the show great.
I honestly didn't expect it to be as spectacular as it was. I know from listening to Metallica's S & M album that a marriage of symphony and rock is absolutely amazing, so I knew that it would be a good show. But this show was by far the best concert I've been to in years. There was an amazing performance of tremendous talent on stage and my wife & I were blown away! Can't say enough good things about it. I highly recommend seeing The Rock Orchestra if you ever get the chance! It will be an event you won't forget and I promise it's worth every cent
I initially took my 13 year old son to see this show because he plays cello for school orchestra and thought it would be fun. I was not prepared for the show to be as awesome as it was. I was amazed by each member of the Rock Orchestra and at how talented they all were. If you are looking for a great time, I certainly recommend this.
The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight in Asheville, NC was such an amazing show. The singers were absolutely spectacular and the orchestra was electrifying! Every person playing the instruments was amazing. I will definitely see them again!
I enjoyed the entire show. They were all very talented. They took a genre of music and turned it into their own. Very entertaining.
The Rock Orchestra was one of the best experiences I have had. Great renditions of rock songs with vibrant sound.
No words can describe. It was the best experience!
The band was phenomenal. Do not go to anything at the Macon City Auditorium. The seating is very crammed together in the balcony. No room to move and can hardly fit in the seats. The seats are very uncomfortable. You cannot move once you sit down as you are packed in so tight.
The music and artists were amazing! I did enjoy the songs with vocals a bit more than just the instruments. I do understand no one wanting to take on Robert Plant and Brian Johnson. I would go again if the songs change from year to year. It would be even cooler if candles were spread out all over the venue and not just on the stage. Thanks for a great evening!
Fantastic! Fabulous Event!! I loved every minute. If this show comes to your town you have to go.
Really loved the concert, the music and singers were awesome. Very lively and kept my interest. I had a wonderful time!
We were absolutely blown away by the experience. Excellent musicians and we loved the song choices. We will attend again.
The orchestra played a great variety of songs for all ages. Keep the audience entertained with ballads and up tempo intermental and voical pieces. Will definitely attend again.
