About

The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight are a band of classical musicians from the United Kingdom who transform rock and metal songs into dark symphonies. The group of 14 musicians regularly performs concerts bathed in an ethereal candlelit glow as they turn songs by AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Linkin Park and more into swirling, dark rhapsodies that bridge the chasm between metal, hard rock and classical music. In 2024, The Rock Orchestra will embark on a tour of their native U.K. as well as Europe and the U.S. to present their thrilling new 90-minute show.

    The Rock Orchestra was amazing! If you are a fan of Rock music, but also like the performance of a classical orchestra, then I highly recommend. Similar to Trans-Siberian Orchestra, they bring the music to life with their energy, stage presence, and background displays. It was entertaining, yet enjoyable to listen to. A well-rounded fantastic show for adults of any age. The only negative comment I have from the performance was the vocals. Some of the songs that were done, could have been better without the vocal portion. I am not saying they were not done well, because they are fantastic performers in their own right, but they were hard to hear at points, and just not needed. It did not take away from the evening but could have been only a positive response if a few of the songs did not have the singing in there as well. 5 Stars is a reasonable assessment of the show, and I would go again in a heartbeat, even if it stayed the same as is. Great Job Rock Orchestra!

    Such an amazing experience. The orchestra members were extraordinary. Lead violinist blew us away. This was a birthday present for my sons father and he loved every minute of it. Our 15 year old was rocking out. Hope to see them again!

    We loved the orchestra and their talent. Loved watching the brass section dance too! We wish we loved the singing but the guy didn’t sound good in the Syracuse show on 11-15. It completely changes the experience from great show to ‘a little corny with the bad singing. The band deserves all the stars, as they were very very talented.

    We went to the Buffalo show as a group of 4 and did not really know what to expect but it was seriously epic. We wished the show was twice as long because we did not want it to end. The singers were such a highlight and are so talented as well as the musicians. 10/10 recommend! The only negative feedback I have is that we expected the amount of candles and the stage decor to be more than it was. It was definitely cool but could have been more like the decor in the trailer video for the event
