The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight are a band of classical musicians from the United Kingdom who transform rock and metal songs into dark symphonies. The group of 14 musicians regularly performs concerts bathed in an ethereal candlelit glow as they turn songs by AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Linkin Park and more into swirling, dark rhapsodies that bridge the chasm between metal, hard rock and classical music. In 2024, The Rock Orchestra will embark on a tour of their native U.K. as well as Europe and the U.S. to present their thrilling new 90-minute show.

The performance was top notch! I would definitely recommend seeing this show! I would love to experience this show again!
As you hear at the beginning welcome to the marriage of orchestra and rock n roll. The production is amazing and the music is fabulous! You know the songs and can’t help but jam, even though most of the time there are no vocals, but when they do add vocals, whoa-the pipes come out! Highly recommended!
A unbelievable show. Can't wait to see again. First time seeing something like this live. Have to see it to believe it.
My husband and I sang along to every song and really enjoyed the whole experience. The musicians were very entertaining. We love it!
This was one of the best concerts. The whole crowd was into the music. The musicians were excellent.
We saw a preview of this show on Facebook and thought it would be interesting. They did NOT disappoint. The music the singing the show was amazing. We were about 6 rows back and the music was not deafening. Totally worth it.
Very disappointing. The advertising made it seem like this was going to be a stage filled with romantic candlelight and heavy metal music beautifully reimagined as lovely orchestral pieces. Instead it felt like cheap Halloween decorations and a bad bar band being backed by a high school marching band. The expressions on those around me confirmed I wasn’t alone.
Never heard of them. Saw an ad, YouTubed them and the rest was history. Fantastic concert. Way above any expectations. If they come back to Cincinnati I’ll definitely go again!!
Before attending we read all of the fantastic reviews so we were expecting the show to be a really good one. But it was better than we could have ever imagined! The lead violinist, Eva (I think), is absolutely amazing and the Star of the Show. Stairway to Heaven on a violin? Incredible!! All of the other musicians and 2 vocalists were extremely talented as well. I wish they were in the area again because we would definitely see them again. We were in the front row and that was a plus but it's safe to assume that everyone that attended enjoyed it as well. If you're looking to get tickets splurge and get the best seats closest to the stage, you won't regret it.
This was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed this far more than I expected to. It was a spectacular performance.
I'm definitely going back if they come back to Cincinnati!! Loved it!!
I am so glad we went. We were in the 3rd row from the stage. It was amazing to be so close. The music director Eve was amazing! The music she picked was perfect. Each member of the group was spotlighted at one point or another throughout the performance. The singers were great! They had so much energy and got the crowd excited!! We will definitely be back anytime they come to town. Whatever you do, DO NOT miss the next performance. SO GOOD!!!
BEST ROCK SHOW WE'VE SEEN. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB !!
This show was OUTSTANDING! Every rocker out there needs to see this. It breathes new life into all our favorite rock tunes! I'll definitely go again when and if the show comes back to Ky.
It was not the orchestra experience I was expecting. I thought it was an actual pit orchestra playing rock songs. It was 10 people playing instruments and dancing with three karaoke singers. Ok for what it was, but not what I was expecting.
It was way more than I anticipated. I look forward to the Rock Orchestra returning to the Palace in the future. The Louisville Palace is simply a beautiful place.
This combination es classic music and rock and roll, incredible atmosphere, highly recommended.
Every body have to come to see that talent. They did it so freaking good. , I enjoyed.
I was blown away!!!! I will definitely be going anytime they are in town.
This is definitely a show for all fans of hard rock and heavy metal. The Rock Orchestra has several videos online that are very good. However, the power and pure energy of the show can only be truly experienced at a live event. The setlist is excellent and the overall performance is terrific.
