Lackluster, no energy, no excitement, just going through the moves, karaoke

Band was excellent. Very professional very Las Vegas personality. RGV had never had anything like it. The McAllen Arts and Performance Center is state of the art. Easy Easy to attend. Nothing like other event ever in the RGV. Access was superb. Parking was ample. Will go again in a heart beat.

The Purple Experience was an awesome experience!! The lead singer sounded like Prince, had mannerisms like Prince, resembled Prince, and the band was excellent as well!! If I had been blindfolded, I would have thought I was listening to Prince himself. They did all of his hits, and really got the crowd involved! My husband, who isn't into music as much as myself, even said he really enjoyed this one and thought the Purple Experience does a wonderful tribute to the iconic Prince. We would definitely go see them again!! Well worth the cost of the tickets!! Thank you Purple Experience for keeping his music and spirit alive!!

My husband and I went to see the Purple Experience unsure of what to expect. We were both thrilled by the show and the performances of all the musicians. Great musicians, great vocals, and a great tribute to a legend.......Prince.

Truly amazing tribute to the greatest musician that ever lived (in my opinion). This was a great evening and homage to the legend himself. You will not be disappointed in this live tribute!! Great show and great bunch of guys to meet after the show!

This was the closest thing to the reincarnation of Prince. I get goose bumps every time I think about it! Absolutely a must see concert!

I had the pleasure of seeing Prince perform about a dozen times. Each time he was fantastic. I was reluctant to buy these tickets because I knew that no one could ever perform like Prince. However this group was able to replicate the party atmosphere he created when he performed. As a huge fan of Prince for some thirtys plus years, I really feel that they honored his memory and captured the essence of his music. From someone who was once a skeptic, I would now go to see them again. The whole band was awesome. The gentleman who portrayed Prince was simply outstanding.

Amazing show. Marshall, the lead singer, had the moves, the singing and speaking voice and even the same mannerisms. The band was tight. It was a great show.

This group was so good - I thought they were lip syncing !!!! The looks, the voice and the sound was GREAT! A very, very enjoyable evening! I was there w a "mature" friend of mine ... Cause us "mature" folk do some tribute stuff these days! He had seen Prince ... And he was also super impressed! Great nite - thank you!

Musicians were amazing particularly the Guitar and Keyboard players.. However.. There is a reason not that many bands want to do Prince because his uniqueness and showmanship goes beyond the instruments.. The music and technical aspects were well covered but the Prince aura and vibe was not conveyed to any reasonable standard as Prince the person is non duplicative

This was a full fledged concert, not just a cover band. The show was incredible. The band was so great and had so many solos that really made the show enjoyable. The Prince impersonator was spot on!

I'm sorry to say that I was REALLY disappointed with the show. The performer looked like Prince (from where I was sitting), but the sound was really off. I just think the sound is more important than the look. Also, the sound there is not that great. I had a hard time hearing lyrics and what performers were saying when they spoke.

I COULD WATCH THIS A FEW TIMES. GREAT FLOW TO THE SHOW.

This was an excellent performance, from beginning to end. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a Prince fan and I would go see it again.

Great Lead Singer, tight band, and the fact that an original member of the Revolution is on stage gives it more authenticity. Great Show!!!

What a great show, would go again, soundboard is a pretty nice venue

I had so much fun that yesterday I bought tics to see them again in St. Charles, IL in August. We drove 185 miles one way to see the show in Springfield, IL on May 28th. It was so worth the drive and getting home at 4a.m. We just loved the show and the musicians. The warm up band "Off The Wall" was super too! Thanks to all the band members on Saturday night.. I will not forget this event in my life!!!!!!!!!!
