Great show , pre show. Videos were fun and the Offspring really nailed , lots of energy
The Offspring put on a great show. The intermission was great. Interactive and very entertaining. The concert was awesome. I loved that they upgraded fans seats also.
Got to this event at 5:30 when the gates opened , storms were in the area. The story was lightening needed to be outside an 8 mile a radius. We waited over 3 hours, a big bolt of lightning flashed right above us right before 9:00 and at that moment they decided to let us in. It started pouring and it was still lightning. New Found Glory didn’t play at all, Jimmy Eat World had a very short set and they started played while fans were still in line. That’s who we really wanted to see as that’s one of my daughter’s favorite bands. This concert was her birthday present. The Offspring was rushed and shortened. I understand if there’s a rule about lighting, but clearly it was ok to break this rule if everyone will get a refund. We waited for nothing and did not get what we paid for. Terrible that they didn’t cancel and refund or cancel and reschedule. Or they could not have that rule at all since they let us in anyways 3 and 1/2 hours later, when there was still lightning.
This was one of the best shows I have ever seen! So high energy and fun! It was the best intermission I have ever been too! Super interactive and retro. You must go see this show! The guys sounded great and Dexter and Noodles are so funny!
The Offspring put on an awesome show. I wasn't expecting as big of a production as it was. Blew me away and was so much fun. Thank you Offspring for such a great show!
The band was amazing!! The sound was terrible. Unfortunately it was far too quiet in the lawn. Turn it up sound guys! Its a rock concert!
Not the best experience during the delays for weather, there was no announcements, just every hour on Internet but must be handled better in situ
These guys put on a terrific show! High energy, non stop, great playlist! It was worth the long roadtrip, and I would do it again! I got a lot of great pictures too!
We was told there would be cooling stations and refilling stations for water at the venue due to the heat We did not find either . No one is ever helpfull when it comes to the employees they just dont want to be bothered..
Noodles was hilarious. The pit was awesome. 3 year old Johns childhood bucket list of seeing the offspring live was knocked off the list at 37.
I’d never been to a show at Riverport and this one most definitely did not disappoint! The stage show was phenomenal and we thought “The Offspring” was the best concert in the history of the universe! Falling in Reverse was hard to understand and way too loud, Jimmy Eat World was spectacular but the Offspring was THE BEST! Can’t wait to see them again
They played a few songs from their new album which I didn’t know they had. They absolutely rocked it. I loved the light display. The crowd interaction before and during was fantastic.
The band was absolutely amazing once they were finally able to preform. This was not my first time seeing them so I knew what to expect from their performance. Being trapped in the bathroom at the venue for 3 hours due to the weather sucked but my son and I still had a great time. Hopefully next time I see them it will be inside so the weather isn't a concern. I have loved The Offspring for decades and can't wait to see them again.
This venue is so trash. You now have to pay for parking, drink prices continue to go through the roof, and they didnt have $2 hot dogs they were advertising. Got there and setup in the lawn only to find the audio hard to hear. Lawn TVs did not come on until the Offspring performed. Later came to find out they didn’t have the lawn speakers turned on, which is why everything was hard to hear.
The Offspring put on the best show I have seen in 20 years! Amazing experience after a nearly ruined event by Mother Nature
I got to the venue right at 5 when the gates opened. Show starts at 7. I didn't even finish my drink before they told us to find shelter or wait in our cars till the lightning passed. It rained a bit too. I gave up waiting around till about 8:30 & went home thinking the cancellation was inevitable. Beat the crowd, traffic, etc. Then the venue finally announced at 9 that they're opening doors & the show would start soon. Kinda pissed they started that late cause I had been sitting in my car the whole time. But Live Nation addressed the whole thing the next day via email and issued concert cash to spend. It was more than what I paid for the tickets so no harm no foul; I was pleased with that.
What was supposed to happen: gates open at 5:30, show starts at 7, 3 bands, hard stop because of city ordinance at 11pm… is not even close to what happened. There was lightning so they delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed. At 8:20 they issued another delay. Then at 9 when it was raining even harder than earlier and still lightning they open the gates, the first band never played and the 2nd band starts playing while at least 70% of the crowd was still outside. Pretty sure they did this only so they didn’t have to issue refunds. Really a terrible experience and certainly not the experience I paid for.
Full disclosure - I didn't actually get to see the show. We waited 3+ hours to get in after doors were supposed to have opened. There was lightning in the area (within 8 miles)so it was against the venue's policy to let guests in. Fine. But after an email at 6:37pm stating the delay, I received no additional communication until an email with a timestamp of 9:01pm stating that doors were open (while there was still tons of lightning). We had left the parking lot at 8:45pm after looking around the radar. We weren't allowed back in the lot at 9 and it wasn't safe anyway because it was still stormy. Also, I heard that the show was condensed substantially and many people were still waiting to get in as the first act was playing. The decision to open at 9pm was clearly a money grab, endangering people and giving those who could get in a subpar performance.
This should have been cancelled due to lightning. The first band didn’t play and jimmy eat world was shortened
I wish this had been handled better. Better updates, more consideration for the fans. I am glad I got to see what I did, but it definitely wasn't the best ever.
