About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Fans and Signage

by Leslie on 8/25/25Dos Equis Pavilion - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

The Offspring were great, however, the Dos Equis Pavilion needs work. The electricity must not be that durable to sustain a large amount of speakers, etc. The ceiling fans that are located in the covered area went out several times! I would invest of updating that. Also, when you enter the area for sections 100 and 200, you are unable to enter unless you have section 100. If you have section 200 seats they make you walk around near the lawn area to access the seats. I don't understand since the event wasn't a sell out. There were plenty of seats left and I know the lawn wasn't completely full. You should take down the sign that shows 100-200 and clearly state 100 entrance only or let everyone with a 200 section seat enter there too.

  • Good bands, bad acoustics

by VR on 8/25/25Dos Equis Pavilion - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

Bands were good. Although aged they all had good energy. Offspring lead singer had a hard time hitting the high notes. You could see him straining throughout the show. But it didn't matter much because the acoustic balance at the Dos Equis Pavillion were terrible. The lead singers of each band could barely be heard, and they all experienced uneven levels during their sets. I'll think twice before seeing another show at that venue.

  • Pure entertainment

by Brown Labs Matter on 8/25/25Dos Equis Pavilion - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Still sound great. Outstanding stage presence. Masterfully worked the crowd. Great experience and entertainment with both Jimmy & The Offspring.

  • Great concert. Great seats

by RH on 8/25/25Dos Equis Pavilion - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Offspring rocks! Jimmy Eat World was pretty good. Crowd was full of energy. Tribute to Ozzie was pretty cool

  • Amazing!

by hil_b on 8/25/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring concert was amazing! The band sounded great throughout and even slowed it down with a piano solo. The drummer was exceptional! I've always loved The Offspring music and seeing them live made me love them more. Also the venue Thunder Ridge Nature Arena was great and seeing the beautiful views of the Ozarks all around. The staff was nice and helpful getting in. We had a couple alcohol drinks which were crazy expensive but that's to be expected.

  • Great performances, bad venue

by Tara Buchanan on 8/25/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 2 out of 5

The bands were all amazing but was pretty annoying that we were singled out and spotlighted several times and couldn't see the set when we were getting blinded by that spot light. Thunderridge is not for the faint of heart, its a long hike unless you want to pay 75+ for parking. They had a misting fan they promoted but was not even in the venue location and only got to cool off with it when we first got in line before they let us walk down to the main entrance. The blankets they had on the website to buy for 30 were thick and very nice but when we were there they just had the thinnest thing ever... my butt hurt for days after sitting on the ground. To rent the chairs its 15 a piece which is not worth it. We would of rather brought our own chairs in and we could have been comfortable. We asked a few staff members where the designated smoking section was so we could vape, a couple different employees and a manager checked the map and said it wasn't on there and let us know lots of people have been walking by vaping and it hasn't been a problem. We thought it was okay and we were enjoying the vibe of the bands especially after the blaring sun went down. Then one of the staff comes over and got on to us for vaping. In the meantime we have lots of patrons vaping and smoking nearby. Thats when the spotlights starting and we were unable to see the offspring playing. We moved to an area where we could see that was a worse view but we were still upset so we ended up not being able to get back into a good vibe so we just went back to our airbnb before our favorite band the offspring was done. Its sad we couldn't enjoy the set but I just know we asked and tried to do the right thing but with the crazy high prices and apparently all staff are not on the same page with some of the rules. I was frustrated because I checked the prohibited items before we came. They saw our vapes when we got checked in and no one said its not allowed until the offspring starts playing. We are never going back there and I encourage others not to put themselves through that either. They didn't even have enough food and the refillable water they have on site tastes like it came straight out of the lake and was warm, which forces people to pay for 6.50+ water or beverage. Definitely a profit over people venue in my experience.

  • Made it to my top 10 concerts of all time

by Angbot on 8/24/25Target Center - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Been to hundreds of concerts in my 60 years, and this made it to the top 10. I was hoarse when I left so that says it all. I would see the Offspring over and over.

  • Good but big delay for weather

by Cliff on 8/24/25Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was good. Besides the weather delay for like 3 hours

  • So Up Beat!

by CassieVanZee on 8/23/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing in every way the people performing were very much energetic and kept the show alive even though there wasn’t that many people there to witness it I give this concert a five out of five!

  • Great fun

by Kelly on 8/23/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

Drove from KC to bring my son to this show for his birthday. He had a blast. Jimmy Eat World is my all time favorite AND they played my favorite song. All of the bands were great. Perfect night!

  • Everything was great with the show.

by Great Show on 8/23/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

Didnt have any issues. Pulled in and they had plenty of people directing traffic where to park. Signs clearly marked. Great sound system. The bands where great.

  • Awesome

by Kimba on 8/23/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

It was the best experience I had and it was amazing that we got upgraded tickets from lawn to seats.

  • Amazing venue

by Pjulez on 8/23/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

Everyone at the thunder ridge arena was helpful and friendly. Food was great and the seats were amazing. All 3 bands rocked out and were entertaining and engaging with the crowd

  • Awesome Concert

by Miqui on 8/22/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

The bands rocked! The staff was so great and I got a seat upgrade. The Offspring was off the chain. I can't wait until they come back through!

  • Weather

by Jerry P on 8/21/25Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 3 out of 5

There was an almost 3 hour weather delay the first band did not play and the second band only played like 4 songs. At this point they should have rescheduled the event. I really was waiting to hear all 3 bands play but only got to experience 1 band to the fullest.

  • too short of a concert

    by DamianT120@yahoo.com on 8/21/25Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 2 out of 5

the artists were good, but due to the weather, the shows were extremely short. the first band, New Found Glory, didn't play, the 2nd band, Jimmy Eat World, only played for 20 min, and the headliner, Offspring, only played for 45 min

  • A blast but also sucked

by Lindsay on 8/21/25Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 2 out of 5

I understand an outdoor venue is at the mercy of weather and they need protect staff/performers/and customers. However the updates were few and far in-between. It was a shortened concert with no new found glory, a shortened Jimmy eat world set and offspring was rushed. Regardless, the performers were amazing and the staff in the venue was wonderful. I just couldn’t understand why there couldn’t be more updates and explanation.

  • Fantastic Offspring concert

by williamsmv on 8/21/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

My recent attendance at The Offspring concert in Maryland Heights, MO. 8-17-25, was fantastic. The band was so excellent. Hollywood Casino amphitheater was a good venue for the concert. The weather was extremely hot, but tolerable. Food, beer, soft drinks were VERY expensive.

  • Show should have been rescheduled

    by Fan224 on 8/21/25Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 1 out of 5

They delayed opening the gates at 5:15, 15 minutes BEFORE the gates were set to open due to the weather. They did not open the gates until 9PM with an ending of 11PM! Not fun and did not get to watch the show because we left before the gates opened at 9PM while it was still storming outside. Our party was very upset.
