Absolutely magical performance. CPYB dancers are beyond talented! Can’t wait to go back next year.

We have been coming for 27 years! It is a major part of our Christmas every year. Amazing how well all the dancers do, even the very young ones.

Have been attending for more than 16 years. Only complaint is there were no programs this year. The dancer that performed as the sugar plum fairy was great. Heard someone say she is 12 years old - is this true? (Why the programs are important)

It was obvious the performers put in many hours of work. The show was first rate and I would certainly go see it again.

My daughter and I loved the performance. The youth ballet was really good especially in the second act. The older kids were so talented. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire show and glad we attended this performance.

I have taken my daughters and grandchildren to a Nutcracker production for years. It has become a cherished tradition for all of us. My family looks forward to seeing these productions each year. We haven't been able to go for three years due to Covid issues, so everyone anticipated this production with great enthusiasm. We were not let down. The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet gave us a wonderful experience. The Production was well done and uplifting. These young dancers were excellent. It was evident that these youngsters worked hard to make an excellent show.

This will definitely be a new family tradition for us! I wasn't sure what to expect- I've seen the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center and this was just as delightful! The lead dancers were so talented and all the dancers seemed to be really enjoying themselves, which made the experience even more magical! I brought my 4 year old and she was mesmerized- it's a perfect performance to introduce kids to classical ballet.

The actual show was wonderful. The venue was not the same experience. We couldn’t see, the people in front of us were far too tall for how the seats are designed. We were also in line for the bar to get water and a quick snack for my 3 year old and we were told to get out of line because they were closing it at the people in front of us. My daughter then cried the rest of the show because all she wanted was water and security told us our only option was the bathroom sink, which is disgusting because the bathroom was far from clean.

From the venue to the performance it couldn’t have been a more magical experience. The nutcracker should be on everyone’s holiday to do list. We loved it.

CPYB's production of the Nutcracker was beyond stunning. The dancing was professional and beautiful and the sets and props were on point to give the audience a feeling of being part of the show. I can not say enough about how wonderful our day was! Can't wait to go back!

The performance was amazing! I took 5 children, none of them have ever seen a ballet. They were amazed and loved every minute of the show. I highly recommend this performance to anyone of any age.

As always the CPYB put on a terrific performance. Took my niece to see it for the first time and my little ballerina in training can't wait to be old enough to perform in it.

Ballet performance: The Ballet performance was not quite as good as in years past but still very enjoyable. Music: The Harrisburg Symphony orchestra was excellent, as always. Hershey Theater: The building is excellent, the service this year mediocre. Only one understaffed bar this year was not able to handle the volume. I and many others left the queue without being able to order drinks during the intermission. Must have been a substantial loss in revenues. One restroom downstairs was closed.

I have been to the Lyric in Baltimore and other venues for the past 20 years---this is my Christmas tradition. I have been going to CPYB performances of the Nutcracker for the past 5 years. Every show has been absolutely wonderful. This year did not disappoint me. I think it was one of the best ever. Everyone performed at top quality--from the young children to the principle dancers. They all seemed to have a natural love for the craft and it shined through. This school produces students of great caliber. It must be a great place to learn because all of the students seem to excel. If I had a child interested in ballet, I would do everything in my power to send them to CPYB. I also give rave reviews to the Harrisburg Symphony. Many venues have "piped in" music which just stinks. The live orchestra simply adds to the greatness of this show. Thanks to all who worked so hard so make it look so flawless.
