The Nutcracker - Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Tickets

Show was excellent. I took two daughters with me and they loved it!!!

The performance was superb as usual. I have enjoyed the Nutcracker before and every time the talent of the Pennsylvannia Youth Ballet was exceptionally exibited. This is a treat that all children should see at Christmas.

The Nutcracker has become a Christmas tradition that I share with my daughter. It is always beautiful, magical and just plain good. The Hershey Theatre is an amazing venue and only adds to the entire experience!

My husband and I attended this performance by the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for the first time. It far exceeded our expectations. Hard to believe the majority of the dancers in the "adult" roles were just teenagers. All of the dancers had great stage presence and even the youngest ones seemed very self-assured and comfortable on stage. The sets were also far more elaborate than we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised and plan to make this an annual event.

It was a lovely performance. Although in this adaptation, there was no closure, as they did not show "Clara" waking up to find the Nutcracker where she had left it before bed, and that it was a dream.

The Nutcracker at The Hershey Theater was beautiful. My daughter and I loved every minute, and we'll be back year after year.

I love going to the nutcracker. I started going as a child and now I am taking my little girl. This is now her 2nd year going and she has already told me she wants to dance in the nutcracker. They made a few changes from last years, I loved it, it is nice to see the same basic story but small changes here and there. Kept my 6 year old daughters attention the whole time and she was so sad when it was over. She was thrilled to get her picture taken with 2 of the dancers after the ballet. They should have more of the dancers after the show or during intermission able to be in the lobby for photos, if possible. I do have some complaints and it has nothing to do with the ballet. Coming in to the Hershey theater, there is Nutcracker items for sale, I don't think they had enough of a selection to buy from. They should have pins and earrings, clothes, more ornaments, more nutcrackers, Clara dolls, etc... I believe the ballet could make a lot more money if they sold more items and more of a variety. I also have to complain about the line for drinks/snacks and restrooms. They only had 1 stand open for drinks and snacks and it was right beside the table selling merchandise. What a mess!!!!! The line was 4 people thick and went from the back of the lobby all the way to the front doors. They should have at least opened the snack station upstairs to help out with the line. And of course the bathroom line, not fun.

The orchestra was wonderful, the dancing and the costumes terrific. A wonderful holiday tradition.

Amazing performance by all. My ten year old granddaughter was enchanted by the music and the dancing. Can't wait until next year.

Nutckcracker performance was excellent; Hershey Theater has a great ambiance; Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra -> live music was exquisite! Only drawbacks: couldn’t get refreshments due to long wait [only one refreshment stand -> waiting lines were too long] Waltz of the snowflakes use to have the choir which enhanced the experience tremendously

The play was fantastic. I would not recomment to buy seats 1-3 row in the right hand side of the Orquestra. The arp is too high and blocks the view.

Music was incredible and the dancing was PHENOMENAL! We loved it!

CPYB did a fantastic show and this troupe has raised the bar(re) yet again. As we attend a coupld CPYB events each year, I am consistently impressed with how professional and dedicated such a young group can be. Kudos to all of the performers for an amazing show and to the producers for their attention to every detail, including the superb sets and lighting. It speaks volumes that CPYB is the only group of its kind to be licensed to perform the Nutcracker and I do not doubt why that is. Bravo!

The ballet was fantastic. I had no idea the dancers were so young, which made it even that much more impressive. They were phenominal.
