I loved the show!! great set, music, and dancers. My mother used to have a ballet school in Kailua. They did Nutcracker many times. I loved the guest artists!! beautiful performance!
I loved and enjoyed the show very much... The performers and stage were great... The kid actors were super cute... I just wished the show had more dates because my friends and family missed it and would have enjoyed the show.
Well worth the ticket price. The costumes were wonderful and the pros brought in from the mainland were fantastic. Very well put together.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show! The set, dancers and music was amazing! Even though the show was at least two hours, the intermission helps the little ones get out the wiggles and my 7 year old, while fidgety, was captivated the whole show. Lots of kids and families at the matinee, this is the show I would recommend if you want to bring real young ones.
Loved this ballet and happy it’s back in Hawaii. I have taken my daughter to this performance for 10 years now. But we really wish they would swap years and do the Hawaiian version one year and then the traditional one the next year. Thanks!

I’ve seen The Nutcracker many times over the years. This production was by far my favorite!. I especially enjoyed the Hawaii twist!.
I loved the costumes, best I’ve seen in the past six years. The settings were fabulous and quite stunning. As usual, the principal dancers performed exquisitely!!!

The costumes were lovely and most of the setting so clever and the dancers were excellent but a few things would have made it more enjoyable for all. A better explanation of the elements clara encountered in her dream especially highlighting the Hawaiian adapted elements and what they represented the explanation given left out the iiwi entirely and had no clue what the hawaiian dancers were to represent tho the dance was lovely. though the pinktrumpet flowers were fairy land like perhaps a pink plumeria would have been more Representative of Hawaii
The costumes were beatutiful anddancers so skilled a few things could have the experience better the program should have highlighted each of Clara's experince s so we could more easily follow along her dream journey especially the hawaiian elements was a little confused what tgey were supposed to represent the woman next to us had never seen the nutcracker so she had no clue what was happening
This show was SO INCREDIBLE! From the pure talent of the dancers, to the sets, the costumes, the music- this is a show I will never forget! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this epic production!
This is such a professional Nutcracker performance and a real treat to see. It’s fun for young and old alike. The dancing, costumes, and sets are all spectacular. The story is so unique, with its Hawaiian spin on the theme, and a must see for all!
The vast array of young vibrant talents from all the entire BALLET ENSEMBLE was simply amazing - The timing, costuming and choreography was absolutely breathtaking and did not disappoint, not for a split second - I left with a renewed Christmas Spirit deep within my soul for this coming holiday of 2022 - ALOHA
Everything was top-notch! The sets, the costumes, the music, the dancing. All very polished and professional. My only wish was that they would have had a larger pit orchestra to give us a fuller sound. Not complaining though, they were great!
This was the first time seeing the Nutcracker Ballet. Me and my family enjoyed it.
I’ve been to the nutcracker many times I go every year. I have seen the Hawai version several times now and I usually go twice this year I went on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The symphony was in fine form. And of course having it set in Hawaii it’s pretty amazing. The dancers were great the costumes were delightful I’m grateful

The show itself was wonderful but the valet parking made no sense! First of all, the valet is on the opposite end of the block so we had to walk the furthest. The self-parking structure was closer! The valet guy literally parked the car couple yards up. Also because our car was parked right next to the entrance, he just gave us the key and we walked up to the car and drove off. So, PLEASE don't waste your $25 on valet parking at the Blaisdell. Made no sense at all!!!!
Awesome show. Such a lively take on the classic nutcracker. I will definitely see this again next year.
