The Musical Box Tickets

I've seen The Musical Box may times and they always deliver. It's nice to be in a room with so many people who share that common interest that is Genesis. The band cares deeply for the music (obviously) as do the fans. Don't bother showing up unless you've memorized the lyrics to The Battle of Epping Forest and/or Watcher of the Skies. You won't be welcome. Just kidding, or am I?

I'm just a few years too young to have seen Genesis w/ Peter Gabriel and became a Peter Gabriel fan in college, but the Musical Box has to be the best cover band I've ever seen and I've seen them 6 times now, the Lamb twice, the White Show twice & Trick of the Tail. This was even better than I could imagine. Even my wife who is more of a Phil Collins fan thought this was their best performance to date. I would strongly suggest that any Peter Gabriel era Genesis fan & never got to see them go to any of the Musical Box shows - you won't be disappointed and SEBP was the best of their studio albums - I would put it in the top 5-10 progressive rock era albums ever & can't see anyone doing a better job of recreating the "feel" of the real thing. My only complaint would be all the inconsiderate idiots with distracting smart phones taking pictures & video that security did nothing about. This should be banned and eject fans abusing this.

I’ve seen The Musical Box many times over the year. The SEBTP Black Show is one of my favorite. The band was good, the venue great. However, they could use a new drummer. He wasn’t very good at all.

the Wellmont Theater is a great Venue to see a concert. The Musical Box peformed all the old Genesis Songs perfectly!....i was amazed how well they acted out all the songs. The sound quality was great....i will defenitly see them again....Great Show!

If you are a fan of the early music of Genesis or are interested in 70s prog Rock music, The Musical Box is your ticket. The Band the reproduces early Genesis concerts from the late 60s and early 70's nailing the complex musical arrangements of the bands earlier compositions. The show was a recreation of a show Genesis performed in 73/74 consisting of the music mostly from the Selling England by the Pound and Fox Trot albums. The band sounded great and lights, feel, and theatrics of the original performance.

This band is great I've seen zeppelin the who tull and alot of other great bands but this band is incredible.I spent 2 hours reminding myself this wasn't actually genesis.

Great theatrics. Only criticism is that the vocal mix was not strong enough to best hear over the music

These guys are the best "Tribute" band around - Flawless music, unbelievable stage show .... I've seen them 10 times and can't wait to see them again :)

The show was fantastic, musician's awesome, they performed one of my favorite Genesis lp's "Selling England by the Pound" and did it almost flawlessly. But....as far as this venue goes it was not my favorite, even though they opened recently and they still have problems, I will try to avoid having to go here, the air circulation was non existent, the table service was basically never there, and the overall sound needs vast improvement. Advise going to other venues that have this down correctly would be, Arcadia BluesClub, the Coach House, the Cave, and the Canyon, then you can really enjoy the show.

Musical Box was a terrific reproduction of the Gabriel era Genesis as they performed live. I love that the costumes, makeup and headdresses for PG mimic was true to the concerts. The voice was dead on. :The musicians were marvelous. The set list was perfect, including Cinema Show, The Musical Box, Supper's Ready, and The Knife, all Genesis iconic pieces. Packed house, standing ovations. It's a new venue, but very nice. My seat had a big support right in line to the band. So I moved to the side bar and sat there for the show. It was fine.

"I've been waiting here for sooo long". I Have, and I Finally saw the most impressive tribute to a rock'n' roll band ever. I just pray that they will return to Southern California before too long. That would be tantalizing. Don't miss the Musical Box if you like Genesis music! Best $$ ever spent. Merchandise is also enticing.

Once again, The Musical Box created an immersive experience faithfully recreating a mid 70's Genesis show replete with original projections, lighting cues, and costumes. I just wish it was in a better venue as "The Rose" in Pasadena (new venue) was overly hot, had obstructed views, and seating was very tight and not quite what the seating chart reflected on-line.

So enjoyed the show. First time seeing them, would love to see them again!

Magical night of great music. What a treat. The Band Musical Box once again took me to that place where I find my favorite music. Thank you guys.

Great set. Simple stage show. Talented musicians doing an excellent job covering one of the greatest bands of all time. Would have given 5 stars but the venue has much to improve on including the awful food for which they charged a ridiculous amount. Don't be fooled by the impressions that you have to be there at The Rose 2 hours before show time to have dinner! get there minutes before show time and eat elsewhere.

The act and the sound that the band "Musical Box" created brought back some great teenage memories of the original Peter Gabriel "Genesis "

99% that Genesis will never play again. While I never had the chance to see them in the 70s, I have seen most all of the video from that period, Musical Box was phenomenally accurate.

The Musicsl Box is truly a great band.the effort they put in to reproducing a Genesis concert is amazing. The musicians are incredible . The singing and background vocals are just as amazing.I have seen them now three times and they seem to get better each time.I recently had the chance to see Steve Hackett genesis revisited and it reminded me how really good they were.This tour was selling England set at Westbury but I think they also do the foxtrot set on this tour at different venues.the bands website has dates and the show they do.any fan of the Gabriel years gas to see these guys!!!I am hoping they return to ny for the Lamb Lies Down again.

Longtime Genesis fan but never got to see Gabriel with them.First time seeing Musical Box. Great show!! I am awaiting tours in my area (NYC) in the future! Will be there with a big smile!!!! Great musicians! I can see them weekly if possible!!! Thank You Musical Box!! Please come to NYC!!
