    Music of Led Zeppelin

    by B. F. on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

All in all it was a great experience. I didn't know a lot about the band that performed with the Baton Rouge Symphony, Zebra, but they were great. The first half of the show was all Zebra's own music. I enjoyed it, but didn't really know any of it. After a short intermission, the music was all Led Zeppelin hits. Zebra, especially the lead singer / guitarist sounded just like Zeppelin. To hear my favorites like Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven with the symphony backing them up was a real treat. I grew up on Zeppelin and never got to see them live. This was the next best thing. I will go again if they do it again next year !

by OG fan on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Having a full orchestra behind Randy Felix and Guy was amazing!! They should record and sell this production for everyone to hear over and over! The music was so full and robust it was an experience like none other!! Bravo!!

    Zepplin meets Zebra

by LSU4190 on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

I’m an advid fan of Led Zeppelin as well as Zebra. Randy Jackson is a master guitarist and it was a true pleasure just to watch him play. The icing on the cake was him being backed by the Baton Rouge Philharmoic Orchestra! An amazingly unique blend of live rock and roll meets classical orchestra usually reserved for Bands like Metallica, Pink Floyd, Yes, Rick Wakeman (Journey To the Center Of The Earth), to name a few. Zerbra is such a unique band all on its own. This was an extra special treat that I’m truly looking forward to seeing again!

    Fantastic show!

    by J. B. on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Randy Jackson and Zebra put on a great show in Baton Rouge playing the music of Led Zeppelin. Do not miss a chance to see them perform their own hits plus "Whole Lotta Love", "Heartbreaker", "Stairway to Heaven" and other great Zeppelin hits!

    Awesome Show!

by Collins on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Amazing how great these guys sounded after so many years! I think Randy’s voice has held up better the original Zepplin guys! Also, the Baton Rouge Orchestra did a phenomenal job! And that drummer........SUPERB!

    Excellent show

by CajunLady on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Music and lights were awesome! Would do it again! Seats were in great location, but most uncomfortable and no leg room. (I'm a short person so felt bad for taller folks.) It's time for the River Center to upgrade the seats. Lol.

    BR Symphony

by AR on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

Wasn’t too impressed with the opening of the show. When they began to play the Led Zeplin songs....it was phenomenal! Worth waiting for.

GREAT show! Not so great seating.

by Jayessarr on 4/2/19Raising Cane’s River Center Arena - Baton Rouge

The performance was awesome! Zebra and the Baton Rouge orchestra were fantastic. Based solely on the music the show would be 5 stars for sure. The problem was the seating. The river center installs temporary seats on the lower levels which are crammed as close together as possible and very uncomfortable. I am 6' tall and my knees were jammed up against the seat in front of me. For the price of a lower level seat I would expect a little more comfort.

    most perfect

by StingIng on 11/12/18Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts - New Orleans

Song selection was smart and conducive to orchestration, Randy Jackson was, as always, a great performer and the venue is one I like. My only complaint for this show, and it has been in the past for this and like shows, is that the music of the actual orchestras too low and completely dominated by the additional performers (who are very, very good and I thoroughly enjoy them). It's just that it is a presentation of the orchestra and they are the least heard. Thanks and again, a very enjoyable show.

Randy & The LPO were outstanding

by Mithrander on 11/6/18Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts - New Orleans

Randy Jackson nailed the vocals while George Citron was flawless on guitar. Powell Randolph’s masterful percussion was like John Bonham reincarnated. The LPO and the venue were wonderful. A great evening.

5 Star Yes! Support your local orchestra!!!! :)

by OrchestraFan5 on 9/11/18BMHMC Amphitheater at Bald Hill - Farmingville

What a WONDERFUL concept!!!! Breathing new life into our local orchestra's which are being forgotten...as their ticket sales and support sadly have been dwindling over the past decades. This was a fun evening (even in the light sprinkling rain:) of the beautiful sound of a full orchestra -playing music I grew up knowing...Led Zepplin! wow! LOVED IT! I do hope they have more shows featuring a full orchestra - and using a great lead singer (NOT AN IMPERSONATOR) but an artist that ACTUALLY SOUNDS like the original artist was AMAZING! Thank you Randy Jackson! NO ONE slept during this performance!!! It was fun, and relaxing night of music and memories! THANK YOU!!! Looking forward to another show like this at (any venue)! :))))

    MSO Plays Led Zeppelin

by zebulonPike on 10/13/16Verizon Wireless Center - Mankato

It was a really good show. Musicians were fantastic and the MSO back up was superb. It was well worth seeing and I would attend again if they are back. I'm, always a little leery of cover bands, but they did an exceptional job of capturing the spirit of the original artists.

    The Music of Led Zeppelin

by jHmay on 1/20/16Baton Rouge River Center Theater - Baton Rouge

We had so much fun! What an enjoyable evening out. We feasted on Oyster's at Jolie's before the concert. Eased our way into the Theater, sat back...no WE sang, waved our arms in the arms, clapped, cheered, standing ovations!!! It was a blast! Then later as we old our friends about how great it was, they kept saying "We thought about going", it was clear they wished they had. We would go again in a minute. Thank you for the experience we loved it!!!
