  • Great Venue and Great Band

by Sparky on 8/1/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Loved the Bethel woods Center for the Arts venue to see the band Hollywood Vampires. The place is very large with all kinds of food and drinks available. Loved being able to see the Woodstock Lawn while there. The Hollywood Vampires were awesome!!!!

Very informative, it was my first time there with my lady Freind. We both had a great time. She was here a few years ago. Best way to spend a rainy day..

  • A half a million strong

    by Ronnie K on 7/16/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my second time visiting and was just as great as the first. The grounds are simply a gorgeous stroll, the museum was outstanding and so were the movies inside. Then you get to walk the hallowed bowl where it all took place. A moment in time that will never be duplicated. If you’re a fan of the 60’s (and really who isn’t), do yourself a favor and visit this place. You can still hear the “no rain” chants echoing thru the hills 😁

We have been to museum but brought family members with young teens. It was fun and interesting especially for the kids who did not live through these times. It was a fun walk through history and the movie is always great

Brought back great memories of the 60's, as well as Woodstock itself

  • Deja View

by Neesey on 7/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The museum really captured both my youth and the events of the time. For those of us who were teens in the ‘60s, we feel that was the best era to grow up. However, there was lots of termoil—the Viet Nam war, Civil Rights, break from the conservatism of the 1950s and women’s issues. The museum does a superb job in showing both the fun of being young at the time as well as the societal issues.

  • Worth it

by Lynne on 7/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

We spent a lot of time reading and listening in the museum. It captures the essence of the 60's and creates a visually stimulating experience. If you are in the area - it's a must stop.

  • Amazing experience

The Museum at Bethel Woods: Story of the 60s & Woodstock was a wonderful experience. The Museum was designed perfectly to grasp what was happening in our country at the time and the impact it had on the success of Woodstock. To walk out and see the concert bowl from above and below at stage level gives you an awesome view of the magnitude of the event. It is a must see. A wonderful trip down memory lane!

Very cool things to see. The short movies were the best part. Loved the bus too. Be sure to drive down the hill from the parking lot to see the tribute stone and the fields behind it.

  • A Great Destination for a rainy day!

by Brian F on 6/24/23The Museum at Bethel Woods - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

I took my nieces who are 17 and LOVE all types of music. I had no idea they would enjoy it like they did. We were there for hours. They read and listened to everything. Even my 11 year old daughter loves it. We had a great time. Food is pricey- so he had a snack and ate at a restaurant nearby. But this museum is definitely something you want to see.

  • Incredible tour that even 3 teenagers loved!

by Mike B on 9/8/22The Museum at Bethel Woods - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

Our docent Joe was a wealth of knowledge and he made sure to keep an old guy, (2) 15 year olds and 16 year old interested and entertained. His portrayal of the history of the Woodstock festival and the events leading up to it while traveling through the area allowed us to experience it in a way that was worth well more than the tour cost. I highly recommend it.

We LOVED it! Jimmy our tour guide was at Woodstock 53 years ago! He told us so many detailed things and we loved the property and the Santana concert the night before! He was also there 53 years ago! What a great tour!
