    Masked singer

by Ks on 7/6/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

The show was disappointing. Nothing like I expected. Made more for kids. Such a tiny stage. Could have been more dancers. The fact that the singing was fake. Waste of time and money. Especially since I blew off holiday events to see it.

    Mystery

by CC squared on 7/6/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Best part of the show was participating audience members. It would have been better if mystery guest was a singer. It was a musical what’s my line show otherwise

    Not worth your money

    by R. F. on 7/6/22

This was one of the most disappointing events I have ever attended. I paid over $400 to go and celebrate my birthday and we should have just stayed at the restaurant prior to the show and enjoyed our good meal rather than sit and be amazed at such poor representation of the Masked Singer show. It was truly a waste of time and not worth your money.

    Bamboozled

by M’co on 7/5/22Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Moran Theater - Jacksonville

Maaaan… Masked singer? Masked, Masked singer! So I went to see a nationally televised show, I thought, on tour. Nothing of the such. It was basically a play. A bunch of amateur performers (good job by them) ACTING like they were on the Masked singer. To end up unveiling (local celebrity) some lady I’ve never seen on the news, who just moved here. And. And I watch the news every day. Never saw her b4. Who the h are you?!?! Absolutely nothing like the show I watch EVERY week. Very disappointed. Not what I was expecting to see. A good show, but not, at all, what I was expecting. It was actually pretty stupid, the more I think about it.

    Totally disappointed

by Linda Humphrey on 7/5/22Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Moran Theater - Jacksonville

I was very disappointed in the show. I paid to see the masked singer, not a concert for someone that I don't know, with some masked singer characters in the show. I paid money that I never would have spent had I known that I was not going to see the masked singer. Felt as though I was duped. Very, very disappointed

    Meh

by B on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

Lots of lip synching, one celeb, and the “local celeb” was no one that anyone would know of.

More like a Natasha Bedingfield Concert

by The_KG_Momma on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

The show wasn’t anything like the TV show. The costumes were there but not celebrities in them. Natasha Bedingfield preformed many songs and it felt more like her concert with other random people in costumes coming out between her clothing changes. They had a surprise guest of a local new cast member. I’m not from the area so I didn’t even know who she was. They also put on a skit about two characters getting engaged, the bachelorette party, and getting married. The bachelorette party was pretty close to R rated and felt uncomfortable sitting next to my child as it continued. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but nothing as to what I was expecting either.

    Was this for real?

by JL on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

I didn’t really know what to expect knowing about the goofy masks and singing and being only vaguely familiar with the show on tv with the same title. I was thinking however that it would be some sort of singing competition with a reveal of singers at some point? It was instead however a prerecorded musical with the masked up personnel dancing around and pretending to be singing. There was a very good singer and winner of a prior season who would come out between the random dance numbers and that was definitely the highlight of the show. I gave it two stars because I did laugh all the way through, but not because I was supposed to be and not in the way they intended. I just couldn’t believe anyone knowing what this was would purposely go! It was like a druggy dream!

Not what I thought it would be

by KB on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

Not at all what I expected. Seeing Natasha and her sing was amazing.. the rest of it was just skits and dancers dressed in the costumes dancing to songs. There was very funny parts but other than Natasha singing and a fox host.. no actual singing took place. Don’t feel like it was worth the &90 a ticket I paid for sure.

    Masksinger

by Trish on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

I did not enjoy it. Very disappointed. Was not aware that it would not be anything like tv when advertised. Bought 8 tickets it should have advertised that it would be more of a concert. Im 66 did not know the singer disappointed. Should not have been called masksinger.

    Disappointed TV Fan

by Fan of the TV show on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

As a big fan of the TV show Masked Singer, the live version was disappointing. There were a few masked performers and one live unmasking of a local “celebrity”, but that was it. I enjoyed some of the music, but overall it just wasn’t what I expected. An unmasking of the costumed performers would have at least added to the overall show. The highlight for me were the dancers who performed along with the masked singers. They were really good!

    Underwhelmed

by Dotzkid on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

After purchasing the VIP, photo option I waited in line for almost an hour. Only to moved through the photo like cattle. There weren't any actual stars. I didn't expect to get a personal concert from hot pepper. She sang extremely loud and at time weren't audible. I can say that was 300.00+ down the drain. I would not recommend this show to anyone.

    Mask Singer

by Kia on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

We did not make the show and the sell the tickets option was so difficult to move through and stopped me at the end with a zip code issue and which state issue that I answered every time would not allow me to post them. So we lost $100.00.

Not what we expected -- but worth it.

by Ethan on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

My mom is a big fan of Masked Singer, so we decided to go to the show. If viewed like a mini-version of the Masked Singer seen on TV, then you will be upset. However, if you take it for what it is, essentially a dance performance, then you will really enjoy it. The show as funny and put on extremely well. The most surprising part -- and, in my opinion, the best part -- was Natasha Bedingfield. She sang about 5 songs, including Pocketful of Sunshine and Unwritten. She was incredible. Had it been promoted as a Natasha Bedingfield concert with Masked Singer backup dancers, I think it would have been more accurate. Bedingfield, coupled with the dancing and entertainment by the dancers, made the show a fun family experience.

Not As Live As I Thought

by Jo on 7/5/22Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Moran Theater - Jacksonville

Our seats were amazing! Natasha Bedingfield was really good. I was hoping that it would be more like the show and less pre-recorded songs. it would have been better if each masked singer was dressed as an actual singer and not just the one. My 6 yr. old daughter loved the show as it was her first concert like performance to attend.

    Not What I Expected

by Collins C on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

Thought this was going to be like the show on TV with the judges and current characters not old characters lip singing. Definitely would not attend again.

I've seen high school productions better than this.

by Bryan on 7/5/22Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville

Totally disappointed in this show. Thought we were going to be entertained by the actual celebrities in costume like the show. It turned out to be the characters lip syncing the oringinal songs. Left at 1st intermission.

    Cute show for kids

by JaxFun on 7/5/22Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Moran Theater - Jacksonville

Would have liked better if it was more like the show with the judges. Used one local person for celebrity. Dancing and costumes were cute and I enjoyed with my son but overall was not impressive.

    Unmasked Singer

by Danni16 on 7/4/22Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Moran Theater - Jacksonville

This show was a Christmas present to 4 of our 5 children. We watch the show religiously! We were all very excited to see the show! Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed! It was basically “the masked dancer” & a Natasha Bedingfield concert. Don’t get me wrong, Natasha was very good, but nobody else actually sang. It’s the Masked SINGER. We ended up making the best of it & we did enjoy the audience participation. For almost $75/person this was TOTALLY not worth it!
