    Not what we expected

by LC Smigel on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

We are true Masked Singer fans. Unfortunately, the show was actually a concert by Natasha Bedingfeld. Over 50% of the show was her singing - even though she is described as a host. The dancing was amazing, but there was a local celebrity that was the reveal. Overall, for the price of the tickets, it seemed like an appearance by at least one of the real judges would have been in order.

    Awesome

by Tru on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

It was a great entertaining performance. I love that they had crowd participation, I even was on stage. The best time ever. Great singer and dancers. Love Natasha’s voice and her enthusiasm.

    Not worth it

by LaraD on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

This was a very bizarre event. It was more of a Natasha Betingfield concert than anything. Her singing with no musicians, back up singers, or dancers (for most of her performances). It left a lot to be desired as far as entertainment goes. The Masked singers didn't even sing at all. I really did not know what to expect, but it was not this. I love the TV show, but this I certainly did not love.

    Great Fun

Daughter bought it as a father's day gift. Had fun and loved the whole program.

    Not what was expected

by Amanda on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

We expected it to be like the actual show. It was still an experience and quite funny but it was nothing like the show. We thought we would see the judges and actual performances but no it was just the costumes and a ton of lip syncing.

    A bit disappointed

by RaeF on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I was quite disappointed to be honest. It was basically a Natasha Bedingfield concert, where she seemed to be the only one singing live at this “live “concert. None of the characters were singing live. I think it was disgusting that a bachelorette was brought up on stage and the characters were grinding her, the floor, and the air. Ridiculous. There was no type of clue package. These tickets were not cheap and I think this was quite a disappointment. I would definitely not recommend it for young children. A bit of a waste.

Not quite what I expected but…

by William on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I thought I would see other stars from the masked singer taking of the masks and singing their signature songs. The dancing was great and impressive. The storyline throughout the show was cool and Magic Mic was awesome. Natasha was incredible. I didn’t even recognize the person who was Boom Box. Wish the reveal was at least a “D”-list star. The VIP experience would have been nice if it went til 6p cause I got there late fighting traffic from Miami. The venue was absolutely fantastic.

    Not what was expected

by Unhappy Customer on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The show was not at all what was expected. None of the masked singers actually sang. It was more of a kids shows. The songs performed were not songs that the audience would know.

    Not Worth Any Price!

by DB on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Lip-Syncing costumed characters at its worst! The skits were so cheesy that maybe a 5 yr old would have found it to be fun! A poor excuse for a live show to tour….just riding on the coat tales of the name of a somewhat “hit” TV show.

    Cute

by Cizi on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

They could have had more back up dancers and better songs. The costumes were awesome! This is supposed to be a kid show so not sure why there was a bachelorette party with stripper dancing and the celebrity mask off was not a celebrity he could barely walk and didn't dance and couldn't sing but overall it was ok.

    Family Fun

by 4tripps on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Took a group of 12 year olds for a birthday present and they enjoyed. Natasha Bedingfield sang beautifully and the dancers did a great job too. Kind of weird but I mean it is people dressed as tacos and aliens. 😂🤪

    Not anything you would expect

by Jack on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Sadly the show was nothing more than a karaoke show in costumes. While it was fun to see the costume at least find local singers to sing live. We left at intermission.

    Disappointing

by C. C. on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Started off great! Live singers in costumes were wonderful! The rest of the show was characters moving around to taped music, Natasha singing and a dancing by the same people. Nobody sitting around me knew who the secret guest star was, we had to google him. The best part of the show was an audience member who acted as a bride in one of the skits. Small kids loved the show but the adults near me voiced their disappointment with it.

    So disappointing

by Lisa on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Host had to be handed cue cards for 3 opening lines. Welcomed us to Miami even though we were in Fort Lauderdale. That should have been the first sign. Each act was a person in costume singing to subbed in music, accompanied by 2 backup dancers. There seemed to be about 4-6 dancers that interchanged masks. Costumes looked like they have been worn since the first ever show. For example, furry gloves looked years old! Figured out who the local surprise guest was upon the first clue and since Fort Lauderdale has so many ‘stars’ residing here, was surprised the best they could do was Captain Lee. The ‘sets’ consisted of a screen which displayed different laser light patterns. Yup- that was the entire set! The show was totally a disappointment and we left at intermission. It certainly wasn’t the show that Nick advertises. Not for adults but great for kids. Sorta like an old Sesame Street production. Wish I could get my money back and my time.

    Rip Off

by PJ on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The mask singer live is NOT what you should expect the TV show is like. The TV show the masked people actually sing. Here you have good dances that dance in a costume that is sang with a track that is being sang by a vocal track. The other one that really signs is z Natasha and she sings great I rather just call this show the Natasha concert. The “celebrity singer” was captain lee from the below deck tv show. Which was cool to see him because I like watching below deck but I’m pretty sure 95% of the theater didn’t know who he was. If you have nothing better to do that night and $50 bucks to waste, it’s worth going.

    Masked Show

by MiamiNice on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Although Show was entertaining, most assumed that it was going to be the actual TV show, but it wasn't. This was disappointing.

    Save your money

by Steph on 7/3/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I never write reviews but this was so low budget and a WASTE of money I had to share. I can’t believe this was even “approved” or ok’ed by the masked singer. So many people left at intermission and although I went for my kids even they were asking if we can go to “the REAL masked singer”. Absolutely terrible.

    Glorified Natasha Beddingfield Concert.

    by Elle Ess on 7/3/22

It sucked. We thought we were going to see The Masked Singer. Instead, we were serenaded by Natasha Beddingfield and a jukebox of other people singing while the “masked singers” -just puppets- lip synced. It may be fun for smaller children, but it was a total waste of money for my teenagers. Don’t waste your time.

    Horrible show

    by J. S. on 6/30/22

No judges were present, basically a Natasha beningfeld concert with mask singer costumes. They unmasked this dude at the end that nobody really knows, captain Lee from below deck. Definitely not a masked singer live show like was advertised. False advertising and misleading.
