  • Memory Lane

It felt really good to sit and sing a long to good music. I treated myself to this show and I was not disappointed. I had a great time😊

  • The 1st two acts could have been left out. šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾

Singing was horrible and the musicians. Needed some back up singers. They was old. Glad Manhattans cleaned it up.

  • The Manhattans were great but…

by Karenh on 7/18/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

The first two groups were really bad. The lead singers sang badly and the harmony was off. After the Delfonics were finished it was announced that the lead singer had died that day. This may be why they were off, so understandable. Not sure why the Blue Notes were so awful. Since we really came for the Manhattans, they saved the day. Gerald Alston still has the voice. They were on and off a little too soon for my liking, but it is what it is.

This was not a very good concert… Should have stayed home because we left before concert ended.

  • Unrecognizable

by SMH on 7/17/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

Gypped After waiting they announced The Delfonics they came out all were saying who the hell are they? The sounds were off no one we knew Was on that stage. Ted was great but did maybe 2 songs although we needed to hear chasing Rainbows. He left the stage while his off key singers remain and he never returned. Later we learned of William Hart padding. The Manhattans tore it . up!! This was half a concert . I need to be discounted on the next one.

  • The BEST for Last!!!

by T. O. on 7/17/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I truly enjoyed the Manhattan's. They were moving around doing their steps, as they were singing. I stated they must work out body in good shape. Gave a great awesome performance. I would love to see them again. The Delfonics were great in spite of the loss, of Friend group leader William Poogie Hart. The morning of the Show. Ted Mills Blue Magic was very disappointing. I think it might be time for Ted to Throw in the towel. His age he slowed down. I'm glad they were first to Perform. I was very disappointed in blue magic. I won't spend my money to see them anymore. I will continue on playing their music from back in the day.. They are washed out now Then the Delfonics were Awesome. But The Manhattan's took the show, and did their thing. That's why I stated save the BEST for last. The Manhattan's were the BEST.

The group was very good. The audience gave them a standing ovation including me. Gerald Alston's voice is still the same. I love his voice. Just wished they would have sung a few more songs, but i was satisfied

Me and my girlfriends would never buy another ticket to see Blue Magic (Ted Mills) or the Delphonics. We are sorry to hear of the passing of Poogie Hart. They should have made an announcement at the beginning of their performance or cancelled. They were awful. Gerald Alston and the Manhattan’s gave a stellar performance.

  • The show was good but seating wasn't the best

  • A show to remember

by Diva on 7/17/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The Manhattans over the top! The new guys haromized superbly. I was over the moon. The Delfonics was definitely not the same as i recalled. Sad to hear about William "Poogie" Hart. He will always be remembered.

  • The Sound of Philly

by Deacon Steve on 7/17/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

I grew up on all of these groups. I would have liked to see Ted (Wizard) Mills with Blue Magic like it was supposed to be however The Soul Generation were his background singers. At his age Ted is still awesome, he will always be my favorite. It was very shocking to here of William (Poogie) Harts passing during the Delphonics performance. The Manhattans were on point and Gerald Alston being the soul original member is still bringing it. Overall it was a very nice concert but I would have liked to here more songs from Ted Mills and the Delphonics. R.I.P William Hart.

by Ron on 7/17/22Mark G Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

Opening act terrible / Delfonics out of tune / lead singer not prepared. Manhattans were decent. Overall the show not worth the amount paid. Very disappointed.

  • It was awesome as always

by DC on 4/5/22Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

I had soooooo much fun. From the time I was in the line waiting for the show until after the show. I have been a loyal fan of the Manhattans since I was a little girl. I have been following them since the 70's. They are one out of two groups who music I love and listen to daily. Their music is phenomenal and so are they. I will continue to be a fan and go see them until the end of time. Thanks for having them here at the Birchmere in VA.

  • Great show
