THE MACHINE IN CONCERT:

As one of America's oldest Pink Floyd tribute bands, the Machine have spent more than 25 years honing their craft, and it's paid off -- Spin magazine confirms that they sound "exactly like Pink Floyd." Combining elaborate stage design, a state-of-the-art light and laser show, and end-to-end performances of seminal albums like Dark Side of the Moon, the band faithfully recreates Pink Floyd's legendary live shows in painstakingly brilliant detail. Fans looking for a dose of the Floyd are sure to be "Comfortably Numb" as they soak in the Machine's epic performances on their 2014 tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in the late-'80s, New York-based the Machine arose out of its members' desire to pay homage to their idols in Pink Floyd. Over their years, their dedication and hard work saw them graduate from small bars and clubs to sold-out shows around the world, including festivals like Bonnaroo and Germany's Rock of Ages. With a knowledge of Pink Floyd's catalog that rivals that of the most rigorous Floyd historian, the Machine is known for playing the Floyd's classic hits alongside obscure cuts from darkest corners of their expansive discography. Back on tour in 2014, the band will once again recreate the legendary band's epic stage show with elaborate set designs, state-of-the-art audiovisuals, and marathon sets.

Great venue.. Exceptional service!! About the show.. great music but could do with a better lead singer to do justice to Roger Waters and Gilmore

    Truly Spectacular...

    by R. P. on 12/30/22Sony Hall - New York

From the very first minutes of the show, The Machine, pulled us into their world and kept us on the edge of ecstasy until the very last note. Pure bliss. Amongst all the classics played we were treated to gems like Fat Old Sun, Lucifer Sam and one of my all time favorites Have a Cigar. So happy they are back and are pushing through all the adversity they've experienced recently. We are so lucky to have them and I hope they are around for another decade or two.

    Unbelievable

by JLAloof on 12/30/22Sony Hall - New York

Fourth time seeing the Machine... They just get better. Joe is sorely missed, but Chris is amazing. Tahra is a master class on the drums... Just watch her do "Time! “. Close your eyes, it's 100% Floyd! A great show as always. Already got my tix for State Theater New Brunswick on 4 Feb!

Welcome, my son, welcome to The Machine”

by Tim on 12/30/22Sony Hall - New York

Really fun show. Took our whole family. Great start with Crazy Diamonds. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. My daughter danced like crazy and my 15-year-old son kept saying “wow, they are really good.” Wish they come down to DC. Whole band is very talented. The keyboardist is very fun to watch.

    Another awesome show!

by Kay on 9/20/22Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

The Machine is THE BEST Pink Floyd tribute band I have ever seen!! Note for note, verse for verse, if you close your eyes, you would think you are seeing the real band. This is my fifth time seeing their show... it would be more than that if I could travel more to follow them!!

    Terrifically done

by David Peppi on 9/20/22Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Masterful performance by all four musicians. I was particularly impressed by how much sonic space the keyboardist Scott filled up. Perfectly done solos and proper guitar lines by Ryan and solid Bass and Vocals by Chris. Of course, The Machine would not be complete without the rock solid beats laid down by founding member Tahrah. Her improvisation during their jams really showcases what a terrific drummer she is. All in all, a well rounded, great performance by all and we'll be sure to see them again next time they are playing near us. Thanks for the great show!

    Great venue!

by Pam on 3/24/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

My first time at the Scottish Rite Auditorium was a great experience! Not a bad seat in the house. My first time seeing The Machine was very good! I wouldn’t say they sounded exactly like Pink Floyd but it was pretty close. They played quite a few songs I was unfamiliar with. I would have enjoyed more of their better known songs. All in all I enjoyed my evening very much.

    Timeless showmanship

by Old Dude on 3/22/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

This is our unteenith time being The Machine since the Early Keswick days and they never fail to astonish me. The show started off a little bit out of synch as the vocals were not quite centered but picked up considerably after intermission. This is a new show since Joe Pascarell has passed and I think they are doing a valiant job at continuing their legacy of providing the best Pink Floyd experience that can be had.

    Awesome show

by Roland on 3/22/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

The Machine are and have always been a fantastic band. I used to see them every year around the holidays at the Keswick Theater in Glenside Pa. This would have been the late 90s and early 00s. Having not seen them in some time, and given the recent passing of band leader and co-founder John Pascarell, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The band is still an incredible live act and their reproduction of Floyds music is quite uncanny. Its often been said of The Machine that if you close your eyes and open your ears to the music it would be difficult to tell them apart from the actual artist. This remains true today! I took my Dad to the show and he’s still talking about it a week later. I hope they continue to perform this music for us for years to come. Rock on guys! Shine on John…

    The Machine - Floydian Bliss

by Wax Ecstatic on 3/22/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Fantastic show. Honest to the material, and they bring their own jamming to make it their own. If you have the opportunity, come out and see these guys (and a gal or two). Not a tribute band per se, you don’t see the lead singer trying to look like Roger Waters. But he definitely sounds like Roger Waters. You’ll never mistake the beautiful and talented Tahrah Cohen for Nick Mason on drums either. The point being, it’s a tribute to the music. It’s spot on and you won’t be disappointed. They bring passion and energy to every show. Totally rock the house.

    Wish You Were Here

by TrishV on 3/22/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

The Scottish rites Auditorium is a premier place to watch a concert and feel immersed in the experience. It is a small venue holding less than 1,000 seats, but the acoustics are fantastic. THE MACHINE lived up to my expectations as we had seen them perform several times over the last ten+ years. We didn't realize that Joe Pascarell had died in January 2022. A loss of such a talented musician. The music itself was beautiful and well played. The band performed many of our favorites and several that I was unfamiliar with from the earlier career of PINK FLOYD. Tahrah Cohen is a talented drummer and her solo for TIME is undoubtedly one of the best. My husband was in all of his glory when the second encore consisted of songs from THE WALLs trial. We are looking forward to seeing them again!

    What a night!!

by Christine on 3/22/22Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Absolutely magnificent! I was so upset that Joe is no longer with us but I have to say the band, along with Adam Minkoff, was spectacular! You all made Joe proud!!
