About

The Lumineers are a Grammy-nominated indie folk band from Denver, Colorado. Led by founding members Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), the band is often credited for helping mainstream the Americana genre in the 2010s, the band has cultivated a following thanks to their vivid storytelling, dynamic live shows and catchy choruses. Their 2012 hit “Ho Hey,” from their self-titled debut, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2016, they released their second studio album Cleopatra, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Lumineers headed out on their first headlining arena tour in 2017, and opened for U2 at stadiums on the band's Joshua Tree Tour that same year. The band’s anthemic ballad “Ophelia” also went viral on TikTok in 2020–21, with help from a dancing kangaroo, and introduced the band to a new legion of fans. In January 2022, The Lumineers released their fourth studio album, BRIGHTSIDE, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and was described by The Telegraph as “a sweet slice of Americana that will get right under your skin.”

Awesome awesome band! Their abilities are amazing. They can capture 7-70 year old's ear. We'll never forget what a great performance. Can't wait to see them again!

Lumineers were awesome opening acts were dull

by mia8788 on 10/19/13UNO Lakefront Arena - New Orleans

The lumineers were absolutely fantastic, although their opening acts left something more to be desired. Especially DR. DOG wanted to fall asleep the whole time they played, it was generic music that sounded like everything else.

Lumineers - One of the best shows ever

    by NashFan37212 on 10/17/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

From start to finish, the Lumineers were awesome. They had some quiet moments but for most of the show, they were rockin the house. Everyone was on their feet and singing along. GREAT show!!!

    Great Show

by Lumnum on 10/17/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

First, let me start off by saying I only sat through Dr. Dog and the Lumineers. Three sets at one show (that is not a outdoor festival) is too much. I am a big fan of Dr. Dog-I find them to be a better version of Kings of Leon (the leads have similar voices). Their set was energetic and fun, a perfect build up to the main act. The Lumineers did not disappoint. I loved the dark Ryman window stage design with the haunting chandeliers. I loved every minute of the set, especially when they threw some Old Crow into the mix. A must see performance.

    The Lumineers were great.

    by RayRay84 on 10/17/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

The only complaint I have is that the show had TWO openers. They were fine but I wasnt there to see them. The Lumineers not coming out until 9:45 was definitely a bummer. I had to leave early because I had to work the next day early in the morning. :(

Such a good show! The Lumineers album doesn't do them justice, they are just so much better live.

    The Lumineers :)

by Anonymous on 10/16/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Overall, my friend and I absolutely LOVED the concert. We missed the first act, but saw Dr. Dog, who were very entertaining and played great music. The Lumineer's were absolutely great! I was only disappointed that the concert didn't last longer.

    Lumineers

    by Jen3215 on 10/16/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I expected the Lumineers to play longer since it was their show. It felt like more of a Dr. Dog concert to me. Don't get me wrong..Dr. Dog ended up being a great band. I just didn't expect to have two opening acts and hearing the lumineers play for about an hour.

Show was great. No Ticket was bunk.

    by HMD9 on 10/16/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

The Lumineers were great. The show was high-energy and very enjoyable. They deserve 5 stars. My gripe is with the paperless ticket at the venue. As an avid concert-goer, I enjoy collecting ticket stubs for all the shows I attend. The inability to do that at The Ryman was very disappointing.

    Lumineers show was amazing!!!

    by topgunn99 on 10/16/13Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

This show was amazing! I bought the tickets for a friend so I only knew like 3 Lumineers songs, but I really enjoyed the show. They were very entertaining. They constantly were switching around instruments, bringing new instruments on stage, and the whole set up was really cool with the chandeliers. A lot of the time, they were not at there designated, seperate spots on the stage. They would all come really close together at the front of the stage; you could tell they were a tight-knit group. And they had fun and great energy on stage. On top of all that, the vocals sounded great!

Genuine fun, infectious tunes. Even better live than on album. We've seen them live 3 times and they just keep getting better! Piano player is a hoot.
