This was the first time I'd seen the Legwarmers away from their home base, the State Theater in Falls Church, VA, and they put on a kick ass show. The crowd was definitely more tame, not as many people decked out in 80s gear, and many of the regulars were absent - Karate Kid, The Hulkster, etc. It was sort of like seeing your local sports team on the road for an away game, but the band still put on an awesome show. There were also a lot less people than the typical Falls Church show, but that just made it easy to get right up front. Even with the balcony closed it wasn't too crowded. If you get the chance, go see them play New Years Eve in Falls Church, you will never forget one of those nights because the crowd energy drives the band to crazy places!
Overall, the Legwarmers never disappoint, and were great once again. If there was anything wrong with this show, I blame Philadelphia.
